NBA, WNBA, and Overseas Basketball Players to Coach Pro Player Camps in Summer 2019
Nike Basketball Camps is offering a life changing experience this summer for kids to train directly with current and former NBA, WNBA, and overseas professional players at their brand new Pro Player Camps. Campers will receive coaching and feedback from top athletes and will work in small groups benefiting from high-energy, competitive basketball training, pro-style drills, scrimmaging, and game play scenarios.
“These camps are going to be a game changer for the young boys and girls who attend,” says Brent Koonce, VP of Nike Basketball Camps. “Having the opportunity to personally work with coaches that have made it to the big league is priceless. Not many coaches have the experience or advice that these professional athletes can give out and kids will gain an unsurmountable amount of knowledge and tips to help them reach their goals – whether that’s making the high school team, playing in college, or going pro.”
Nike Basketball Camps will offer Pro Player Camps in 6 states in summer 2019 at over 10 different facilities. Coaches include current NBA players such as Denver Nugget Power Forward Tyler Lydon who will be at the Tyler Lydon Basketball Camp in Pine Plains, NY, Awvee Storey who is the current assistant coach for the Capital City Go-Go of the NBA G League, and Lance Harris who enters his 11th season playing professional basketball overseas.
