Nike Basketball Camps Teams Up With Findlay Prep for Summer 2019

Nike Basketball Camps is teaming up again with Findlay Prep for summer 2019. Findlay Prep, currently ranked #16 high school basketball program in the nation by Max Preps, has groomed many NBA players including Tristan Thompson, Avery Bradley and Cory Joseph. The summer staple Nevada basketball camp returns this coming year with directorship from new Head Coach and Findlay Prep alumnus Rodney Haddix.

Haddix was named Findlay Prep Head Coach in fall 2018 after serving as assistant coach for the previous five seasons. As assistant coach, Haddix helped the Pilots finish with a 153-19 record and 4 appearances in the Final 4 of the National High School Tournament. He has also worked previous Nike Basketball Camps at Findlay Prep and Rancho Solano Prep School in Scottsdale. In his career, Haddix has coached five McDonald’s All-Americans, five Jordan Brand All-Americans, 35 Division I signees, and four NBA draft picks, including two first round picks.

The 2018-19 Findlay Prep season is shaping up to be a big one with a 5-0 record going into December 2018. Under Coach Haddix’s direction, four out of the five games have ended with scores for Findlay Prep in the 100’s. All eyes are on Coach Haddix, Findlay Prep’s sixth head coach in program history, to make the National Championship in New York, an event the program has not missed since 2009.

Coach Haddix will coach the 2019 Nike Basketball Camp at Findlay Prep with his staff of top high school coaches and elite players. Open to all abilities, this complete skill camp is for boys, ages 8-15, looking to hone in on their skills in a competitive and focused environment. Registration is now open for the 2019 summer.
