US Sports Camps, Inc., the operators of the Nike Lacrosse Camps, is proud to announce two winter lacrosse camp opportunities taking place at UC Berkeley in early January.

The Nike Cal Women’s Winter Lacrosse Camp, taking place January 2-4, offers players from around the country a unique opportunity to advance their skills at Memorial Stadium on the beautiful campus of UC-Berkeley.

Directing the girl’s camp is Brooke Eubanks, California’s Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.  "Hosting our Winter Lacrosse Camp provides players a great opportunity to improve on multiple areas of their game prior to the seasons start,” says Coach Eubanks.  Currently in her first season at Cal, Coach Eubanks joins the Golden Bears program after a successful tenure with the Stanford Cardinal Women’s Lacrosse Team. Assisting Coach Eubanks at the Winter Lacrosse Camp includes first-year assistants Kacie Lewis, a four-year letter winner at UConn, and former Golden Bear standout, Megan Takacs.

The Cal Women’s Winter Lacrosse Camp is designed for girls ages 13-18 and focuses on advanced skills, position play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. The program also offers training specifically for goalies, involving the development of their positioning, stick handling and situational game management. Campers will compete in scrimmages daily to implement the skill work they learned throughout the day in a competitive environment.

The three-day program runs from 9:00am-8:30pm daily. Suggested hotel accommodations include The Claremont Hotel as well as Hotel Durant, both located in near-proximity to the UC Berkeley campus.

The Nike Cal Men’s Winter Lacrosse Clinic takes place January 10-11 and offers players ages 10-18 the opportunity to improve their skills in a competitive environment. The two-day program runs from 9:00am-3:00pm daily at Underhill Field, a turf facility located on College Avenue.

The clinic is directed by new Golden Bear Men’s Lacrosse Coach, Ned Webster along with his UC Berkeley coaching staff and current players. Stick work, individual attacking and defensive skills as well as team attack and defensive concepts will be covered during the clinic. In addition, campers will have the opportunity to take a tour of The UC Berkeley Campus and Memorial Stadium.
