Pace University Men's Lacrosse Off To Fast Start In 2019

Located adjacent to Peter X. Finnerty Field is Pace Stadium, home to both the Pace University Football and Women's Soccer teams in the fall and the Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams in the spring.

San Rafael, CA - Continuing their best start to a season in 20 years, the No. 6 Pace University men's lacrosse team protected their perfect record on Saturday afternoon, defeating Saint Michael's 13-8. The win moves Pace's record to 6-0 overall and 2-0 against the Northeast-10 Conference.

An 8-3 goal advantage in the second half of the contest led the Blue and Gold to the win. Tied 5-5 at the half, the Setters rattled off four straight goals to open up the third quarter to give Pace a lead that they would never look back from.

"We are off to a great start this season," said Pace head coach Tom Mariano. "The season so far has been filled with outstanding individual performances, but we have prevailed because of team effort."
