Nike Swim Camp Announces New Camp In Lexington, Kentucky
Transylvania University is located in Lexington, Kentucky.
Nike Swim Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, has announced a new Kentucky swim camp location for summer 2021. The Nike Swim Camp at Transylvania University is designed for competitive swimmers ages 9-18 looking to improve on the "little things" that will make you a better swimmer.
Transylvania University is located in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. Campers train each day at the William T. Young Center's six-lane, NCAA competition-size swimming used by Transylvania's swimming and diving team.
Our Comprehensive Stroke Camp, lead by Head Swimming Coach, Dave Doolin, offers a balanced curriculum built around training, technique, and race strategy to improve each of the four strokes.
“We are thrilled to work with Coach Doolin at Transylvania this summer,” says Paul Merrion, VP of Nike Swim Camps. “He is such a dedicated and knowledgeable coach and knows how to coach swimmers at every skill level.”
This summer, Transylvania University is offering one session of day camp 9:00am-4:00pm for ages 9-18 June 14-17. This summer camp for competitive swimmers is an excellent format for campers to learn new drills, refine stroke technique, and focus on racing skills that will impact their swimming. Athletes will be challenged and engaged in a safe and supportive camp environment. Our experienced coaching staff strives to make the week a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
