Nike Tennis Camps announces new FSU Winter Camp to close off 2019
San Rafael, CA – Nike Tennis Camps is back at the Seminole High Performance Nike Tennis Camp at FSU for December 2019. Presented by US Sports Camps, the camp is hosted with the intention of covering all aspects of the game with daily instruction at the FSU courts, fun games and competitions, and in-depth coaching from FSU’s Head Men’s Tennis Coach, Dwayne Hultquist.
Hultquist enters his 20th season at the helm for the Seminoles, and has transformed the program into one of the top competitors in the Atlantic Coast Conference. In 2018, Hultquist reached 300 career wins and led the Seminoles to the second round of the NCAA tournament, while also becoming the first coach in program history to be honored with the ACC Coach of the Year award.
“Florida State has stunning facilities that have hosted some of the biggest college tennis matches on record,” says Wendy Shpiz, VP of Nike Tennis Camps. “We are beyond excited to give kids another opportunity to train at FSU with some of the best coaches in college tennis right now.”
Florida State’s 12 outdoor and 6 indoor courts, coupled with Hultquist’s passion for junior development, make for the perfect Nike Tennis Camp. The Seminole High Performance Winter Tennis Camp at FSU will run one session of camp December 14–15, 2019. The program is open to players of all ability levels, ages 8-18.
