Oklahoma State University Joins Nike Tennis Camps to Host Camps in Summer 2021
Nike Tennis Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, has partnered with Head Women's Tennis Coach, Chris Young to host a Nike Tennis Camp at Oklahoma State University for summer 2021. OSU has a history of offering camps to players of all ability levels and now, will offer one week of Nike Tennis Camp for junior players to train and get better this summer.
Oklahoma State University Tennis is located at Greenwood Tennis Center in Stillwater. The center includes 12 lighted outdoor tennis courts in two sets of six courts. Campers will get to train at the only collegiate facility to receive 2016 United States Tennis Association Outstanding Facility Award. All campers have the opportunity to train with players of similar skill levels in four types of programs: 10 & Under Tennis, All Skills, Tournament Training and High School.
“We are thrilled to work with Coach Young at OSU this summer,” says Wendy Shpiz, VP of Nike Tennis Camps. “He brings to the court a wealth of experience and passion for the sport of tennis. It’s a great opportunity to improve and develop at one of the premier tennis facilities in the nation and home of the 2021 National Indoor Championships."
All sessions are open to players of all abilities. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Camp will run June 6-10 with a half day option for beginners ages 6-10, as well as full day and overnight camp options for players ages 11-18.
