New Massachusetts volleyball camp added to Nike Volleyball Camps summer line up
A brand-new volleyball camp in Massachusetts has been added to the Nike Volleyball Camps 2020 summer camp line. The newest location is set to be held at the Thayer Sports Center, a multi-use recreational facility that is located on the Thayer Academy South Athletic Campus in Braintree, MA and will allow players the opportunity to train with a collegiate level coaching staff. The Nike Volleyball Camp at Thayer Sports Center will be directed by the Curry College Head Volleyball Coach, Bori May.
May is not a stranger to the Nike Volleyball Camps family as he also directs the Nike Volleyball Camp at Curry College. Last summer, May helped over 200 athletes work on becoming a better player through various drills used by his Colonels volleyball players. Now, he will be lending his training techniques at this new location to give more players a chance to develop their physical and mental skills in volleyball.
“We are very excited to have Bori run this new volleyball program,” exclaims Siera Love, National Manager of Nike Volleyball Camps. “We love bringing new opportunities to all levels of players. This summer has lots of fun in store and we are looking forward to helping each player grow!”
The new Massachusetts volleyball camp will be offered as an All Skills program and is ideal for beginner to advanced level players. Under May’s instruction, campers will work in small groups with other staff members that will be made up of collegiate and club coaches as well as college-level players. During camp, players will cover all aspects of volleyball and work on enhancing their skills through various drills that emphasize the fundamentals of hitting, serving, setting, and passing.
This girls volleyball camp will be on August 11-14, and runs 9:00am-3:00pm every day.
