New Pennsylvania location added by Nike Volleyball Camps
A new volleyball camp in Pennsylvania will be offered by Nike Volleyball Camps this upcoming summer to players in the Lancaster area. The Nike Volleyball Camp at Franklin & Marshall College will offer a girls camp for ages 10-18, of all ability levels. Directing the program is the Diplomats’ Head Coach, Mary Kate Salko.
Salko has extensive knowledge of volleyball and has lead the Diplomats program since 2003. So far, she has captured 3 Centennial Conference Championships, 14 winning seasons, trained multiple All-Americans, and is the only conference coach to have earned all 300 career wins in the CC. Her extensive and successful background brings our Pennsylvania volleyball camp elite level coaching and energy experience.
“I am very excited to bring a Nike Volleyball Camp to our school,” exclaims Salko. “We can’t wait to teach players and help them take their skills to the next level. This summer has lots of fun in store and we are looking forward to helping each athlete grow in the sport they love!
The new girls volleyball camp will be offered as an All Skills program. All Skills camp is open to every level of player to improve their game. Salko will then split the players into groups based on their ability level and age in order to maximize instruction that will fit each camper's skill. Campers can expect to learn various drills that emphasize all aspects of volleyball such as position work, serving, defense, and offensive skills.
