New Summer Volleyball Camp in New Jersey Added by Nike Volleyball Camps
A new volleyball camp in New Jersey is being offered this summer to girls across Gloucester County. Held in West Deptford Township at the Riverwinds Community Center, this summer volleyball camp allows campers to train, compete, and improve through individual drills, specialized position work, and advanced instructional demonstrations.
Campers can expect to train with Rowan University Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach, Maggie Catherina, at this South New Jersey volleyball camp. Catherina comes to this new camp with collegiate level coaching experience at Rowan University and club experience with Gold Medal Squared, a nationally recognized clinic organization. She is also a member of the AVCA. This extensive resume will help players learn more advanced techniques and will provide fast-paced 6v6 game play throughout camp.
“Maggie was an excellent addition to the Nike Volleyball Camps family this summer” says Siera Love, National Manager of Nike Volleyball Camps. “Her passion and desire to help young athletes in volleyball will be evident during camp. She brings a fun and exciting atmosphere to the game of volleyball, and we are very excited for campers to learn from her.”
The new volleyball camp will be held at the Riverwinds Community Center. This center offers two state-of-the art gymnasium facilities, both of which include an indoor running track, that players will utilize during their time there. Under Catherina’s instruction, players can expect a four to five hours of daily volleyball instruction in group ratios of 1 coach to 10 players. During camp players are grouped with players their own age and ability level to help them compete and train.
This camp is set to run August 5-8 from 9:00am-3:00pm every day, and is open to girls, ages 10-18, of all ability levels.
