Sell out New York volleyball camp adds new serving clinic
For the past two years, the Nike Volleyball Camp at Pace University has proven to be a top-notch program in the Northeast. This past summer, the Setters helped over 130 campers work on their volleyball skills through varieties of drills and gameplay. It was recently announced by Nike Volleyball Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, that summer 2020 would include a new Serving Clinic in addition to the All Skills and Intermediate/Advanced camps.
When asked about her daughter’s past experience at the New York volleyball camp, parent Cindy V. had nothing but positive statements. “The Nike Volleyball Camp at Pace University provides a positive environment for the girls. The feedback during camp allowed my daughter to grow as a player. This is what makes a great athlete at any age when you are looking for ways to improve your skills.”
Another parent exclaimed “This camp is wonderful and has supportive teaching. My daughter felt encouraged and inspired, and also learned some really important skills.”
With the addition of a Serving Clinic, more players will be able to experience the positive environment and elite coaching this upcoming summer. The new half-day clinic will be offered on a Friday to encourage campers to link an All Skills or Intermediate/Advanced camp with the Serving Clinic. This will allow them to work on their skills from Monday-Friday during the summer.
During the half-day Serving Clinic will include instruction for all types of players. Players new to volleyball will learn the basic fundamentals of serving, while the more advanced players may work on float, jump serves, and serving tactics.
