Nike Volleyball Camps Added a New Summer Volleyball Camp in Kentucky
Nike Volleyball Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, has added a new volleyball to their 2019 summer schedule. This new volleyball camp in Kentucky will be held at Spalding University in the town of Louisville. Players planning to attend will receive instruction from Spalding University Head Volleyball Coach, Cheneta Robinson, her staff, and current athletes.
Robinson is no stranger to volleyball. Prior to becoming Spalding’s second coach in the program’s history, she was a Division 1 Assistant Coach for University of Evansville and Virginia Commonwealth University and played collegiate volleyball for University of Indianapolis. This will be her first time directing a Kentucky Volleyball Camp with Nike Volleyball Camps.
“We are very excited to be expanding Nike Volleyball Camps into Kentucky this summer,” says Siera Love, Nike Volleyball Camps National Manager. “We are now reaching more players and providing them an opportunity to train, compete, and improve in the sport they love.”
Spalding University is nestled in downtown Louisville, and players will train on campus at the Columbia Gym. Under Robinson, campers receive valuable instruction on all aspects of volleyball through a variety of drills, games, and 6v6 competition. Players can also expect to receive technical training from collegiate level staff on position work, game strategy, and their fundamentals.
This camp is set to run July 8-11 from 9:00-3:00pm daily and is open to girls, ages 10-18, of all ability levels.
