Nike Volleyball Camps Adds New Volleyball Camp in Phoenix
Nike Volleyball Camps has added a new volleyball camp in Arizona to this upcoming summer. The new camp will run at Arizona Christian University, a small private school located in Phoenix, and will be directed by Micah Briscoe, ACU Head Volleyball Coach. This new addition will mark the third Arizona volleyball camp hosted by Nike Volleyball Camps.
Coach Briscoe is currently the Director and Head Volleyball Coach at Arizona Christian University. Briscoe previously served as Director of the Arizona Region Junior Beach Program for four years, and coached at the high school and middle school level earning him Deer Valley Coach of the Year awards. Briscoe will be lending his vast knowledge of competitive volleyball to players attending the camp.
“Micah is a great addition to the Nike Volleyball Camps family,” says Siera Love, VP of Nike Volleyball Camps. “His enthusiasm for the game and coaching will be apparent at camp, and we are positive players will leave with a higher volleyball IQ.”
Boys and girls will participate in a series of drills and games in ACU’s Fultz Memorial Gym. Here campers will train and compete with fellow volleyball players in the Phoenix area. Under Briscoe’s set training schedule players can expect to master their fundamentals and work on developing proper mechanics for advanced techniques.
This new volleyball camp will run June 10-13. Girls will attend day training sessions from 9:00-3:00pm daily, and boys will attend evening training sessions from 4:00-7:00pm daily.
