Nike Volleyball Camps Adds New Volleyball Camp in the Inland Empire
Welcome to the Nike Boys Basketball Camp at University of Redlands!
A new volleyball camp in the Inland Empire has been added by Nike Volleyball Camps this summer. At the University of Redlands, players will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a U of R Bulldog. This program will be directed by Lisa Lindberg, Bulldogs Head Volleyball Coach, and her current staff and college level players.
In 2018, the Bulldogs captured their best record since 2010, and had two players land in the All-time top 10 for total career blocks and total digs in a single season. They will bring their hard work and determination to this new Southern California volleyball camp.
“We are excited to bring Nike and US Sports Camps to our campus for 4 days of learning and fun,” exclaims Lindberg. “As a former attendee of Nike Volleyball Camps myself, I know what an incredible learning experience it will be, and I couldn’t be prouder to host this camp. Campers will receive instruction on a variety of skills as well as strength training, mental toughness and leadership. We aim to offer a well-rounded experience accessible to campers at all skill levels”
The camp will take place in Currier Gym, nicknamed the “Dawg Pound” for its exciting atmosphere, which is home to the Bulldogs volleyball and basketball teams. Players will engage in drills and live game play geared towards their ability levels. Campers can also expect to receive encouragement from Addie, the Redlands live bulldog mascot. Addie will help get the players in shape with her spirited barks, and happy tail wags.
The Nike Volleyball Camp at University of Redlands is set to run June 10-13 as a day camp program. From 9:00am-3:00pm each day, girls and boys can expect to master their fundamentals and develop proper mechanics.
