Nike Volleyball Camps Offers A New Location in New York

Nike Volleyball Camps, a division of US Sports Camps, just announced a new New York girls volleyball camp at Nassau Community College, located in Garden City, NY on Long Island.

The Nike Volleyball Camp at Nassau Community College is a day camp is for kids of all ability levels who want to take their game to the next level. Campers have the unique experience to train alongside other athletes and learn from elite level coaches and players. The camp will include innovative drills, position training, and team driven competition.

This summer volleyball camp will be directed by Stephen McCarthy, Director of The McCarthy Project (TMP). TMP was founded in 2001, and is dedicated to helping young athletes excel in their sport. McCarthy is a USAV certified official, a member of AVCA and JVA, and a coach within the USAV High Performance Beach Program. Together, McCarthy and his coaching staff bring decades of volleyball training and knowledge to camp.

“We are very fortunate to partner with The McCarthy Project and bring a terrific new camp to Garden City where young athletes can learn new skills and develop as athletes,” says Siera Love, VP of Nike Volleyball Camps.

The Nassau Community College Camp runs Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm, and is for girls, ages 10-18. Campers will participate in focused training in a fun and safe environment.
