Prestigious Volleyball Club in Maryland Set to Run New Nike Volleyball Camp
The Bay Area Volleyball Club is set to run a new Nike volleyball camp in Grambrills, Maryland. Located in the Baltimore Metro Area, this camp will provide players with the opportunity to train at an advanced level with Bay Area Volleyball Club’s staff. The camp is set to have Director, Lauren Boyd Leventry, and Washington College Head Volleyball Coach, Jamie Leventry, run this advanced volleyball program for the summer.
Lauren and Jamie have a combined total of 31 years with the Bay Area Volleyball Club. They have coached teams ranging from U12 to U18, and Jaime has expanded his coaching knowledge into the collegiate level at Goucher College (2011-2012) and more recently Washington College (2013-present).
“We are thrill to have both Lauren and Jamie for the Maryland volleyball camp” says Siera Love, VP of Nike Volleyball Camps. “With their extensive knowledge for volleyball at all levels of coaching, the advance program they are offering is sure to exceed every players’ expectation.”
The new advanced volleyball program gives athletes a chance to push themselves to the next level. High-level varsity and club players will engage in intensive conditioning, individual instruction, and full scrimmages with other athletes. Under Jaime’s instruction, athletes can improve their skills in their specific position through advanced drill work used by top club and collegiate players.
This camp is set to run August 5-8, Wednesday through Friday, from 9:00am-3:00pm every day. Girls, ages 13-18, who are competing at the high school or advanced club level, are encouraged to attend.
