CAMP PROGRAM INFORMATION

• Camp Type(s) Offered: 3 Day Camp (Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-11:30am & 1:30pm-4:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am-12:30pm)
• Gender: Coed
• Age Range: 18+
• Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced

SKILL LEVELS & GROUP PLACEMENT

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Participants are then sorted by ability first, then age per the Camp Director's discretion - adjustments are made as needed during camp.

While there are many ways to define skill levels, the following descriptions are what the Camp Directors at Nike Pickleball Camps will use to organize and group camp participants. At the time of registration, please choose the level that best represents your experience:

• Beginner: Players at this level are new to pickleball and have little to no experience. They can hit basic shots and possess a fundamental understanding of the rules, scoring, and court positioning. Focus is on building confidence and familiarity with the game. (No rating or DUPR rating 1.0 - 2.5)

• Intermediate: Players at this level understand the rules and strategy of pickleball and can sustain rallies using a mix of shots. They can hit with some spin and accuracy, resulting in fewer unforced errors. Focus is on refining technique, improving court awareness, and developing strategic play. (DUPR rating 3.0-3.5)

• Advanced: Players at this level are proficient in all aspects of the game and employ advanced strategies. They exhibit strong footwork and a deep understanding of gameplay dynamics. This level focuses on competitive play, advanced shot-making, and tactical decision-making. (DUPR rating 4.0+)

CAMP CHECK-IN/OUT

• Check-In: Campers Check in at the tennis courts Friday at 3:00pm and will check in at the Hotel Friday after instruction at 5:30pm
• Check Out: Campers Check out of the Hotel Sunday 1:30pm

CAMP SCHEDULE

• Daily Camp Schedule: Friday 3:00pm-5:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-11:30am & 1:30pm-4:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am-12:30pm

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

• Welcome Package: All campers receive a Pickleball Camps t-shirt
• Instruction: 11 hours of court time including instruction and match play
• Hotel 2 Night Stay - Studio for Singles, 1 Bedroom Suite for Couples or 3 Bedroom Suites per Registered Participant (add your roommate requests)!
• Saturday Night Social: Drinks and Music on the Veranda!
• The Camp Tuition includes all the above for one camper. if you have multiple campers attending, each person must enroll as their own, not by room.

MEALS

• Meals are not provided.

• Suites have a full kitchen!

• Participants can access the onsite restaurants as well.

EQUIPMENT, FACILITY & MORE

• Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a pickleball paddle, athletic shoes and a water bottle
• Facility: Ocean's Edge Resort's 14 pickleball courts

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellations made at least 7 days before the camp start date will result in a camp voucher for the full amount of tuition paid, valid through the following calendar year. This voucher is transferable to any family member and can be used for any sport.
• Cash refunds will only be issued if Cancellation Protection was purchased at the time of registration.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the camp start date will receive a camp voucher for 50% of the tuition
• No-shows (individuals who do not attend their registered session) will forfeit the full tuition payment.

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS

This is an overnight camp only - there is not a Day Camp option. Your hotel stay is included in the package and we offer Studios, 1 and 3 bedroom suites. Pending your roommate requests, each participant has their own room in the suite. If you are single and attending alone, you receive a studio. If you are a couple, you receive a 1 bedroom suite. If you have 2 roommate requests, you receive a 3 bedroom suite. All suites have a full kitchen!

Roommate Request 1 - If you are attending with a partner, please note their name in the registration.

Roommate Request 2 - If you are attending with 2 friends, please note their name in the registration.

If there are more than 3 in your group (including yourself), please note the names in the registration. They will need a second room and can request it when registering.

WHEN BOOKING. It's just one rate and the fee is $950. Once we see your roommate requests, we can start to place you.

If there are any imperative changes prior to camp start, registered campers will be notified via email and this webpage will be updated.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

• Athletic, on-court pickleball clothing
• Pickleball Paddle(s)
• Comfortable court shoes (no running shoes)
• Sweatshirt/warm up jacket and pants
• Water bottle*
• Sunscreen**
• Snacks (optional)
• Signed Health & Release forms and waivers (forms completed online do not need to be printed and turned in at camp)
