WHAT FAMILIES SAY ABOUT Nike Boys Collegiate Soccer Experience at Virginia Tech

I cannot thank you enough for providing such a fantastic camp for my son! As a mom, you cannot put a price on safety and I THANK YOU for providing such a great environment! I loved the great organization and the ease of getting Will checked in and out. The experience was life-changing and I truly appreciate it! Also, I (and my son too) LOVED the Player Evaluation Card! It provided great and honest insight. It gave us a plan, so to speak, on where Will needs to work on certain skills. Thank you again for such a great camp! We will be back next year!!
This was the first time my son has been on his own and it was 4 hours away from home. As a parent, I was worried how it would go. After seeing the campus and the security at the dorms and listening to the instructors I felt more at ease. Then speaking with my child nightly and knowing he was tired, ate 3 meals a day, and was showering, I knew he was in good hands and doing just fine. He said he had the best time of his life and the experience was amazing! He will be attending next year! Thank you all for providing a great life experience and memories for my son!
Camp runs like a smooth oiled machine. This is Hunter’s 4th year. Very good camp! He loves working with the coaches and the food is fantastic!
I have attended the camp for two consecutive years. Each year, I learn more and build on the skills I improved on from the previous year. Feedback is instant and constructive. Good pace and structure.
This is a great camp! My son has been to this camp five times and plans to come back next summer. Excellent positive coaching. Highly skilled players. Lots of fun. Food at Virginia Tech is excellent.
My son went with two friends, and they all really enjoyed everything about this camp. Also, they've done other camps in the past, and very much appreciated having air conditioned dorms, and excellent dining, in addition to the soccer experience itself.
My son CJ had a wonderful experience at VA Tech camp. The coaches were very engaging, and helped him improve his game. We definitely recommend this camp!
Landyn really enjoyed camp and was excited to return each day. He said he learned a lot and LOVED it!
Hayden enjoyed camp. He really enjoyed the coaching staff and opportunity to improve his soccer skills in preparation for the upcoming club season. Thank you for your commitment to developing youth soccer players.
The Nike camp at VT is an excellent program. My son had fun, worked hard, learned some new techniques, and made several new friends. On the way home he asked if he could return next year! Thanks VT & Nike, for a great experience!
Hector loved that he felt challenged with the other boys that attended the camp and had amazing coaches. He stated he feels ready for this coming soccer season.
My son has attended a lot of soccer camps but the Virginia Tech camp by far had the biggest return oninvestment. The experience and skills that my son gained at the camp completely outshined those of other camps. He will definitely be attending again.
Excellent experience. This was my son's second year attending the camp! He loved every minute. He has already said he'll do it again next summer. Thank you, Nike and the experienced coaching staff.
Best soccer camp by far my son has ever attended. For the first time with any soccer camp, he talked about going back next year even as we were going home.
The camp showed my son what he needed to improve on to get a college to look at him, while also improving his soccer skills and showing him what it is like to live away from home. It made him start looking a schools to see what it takes to get a soccer scholarship. Before this camp we had to ask him to practice now he practice without us saying anything.
The camp was very organized, the boys were pushed and the campus experience is a bonus for boys who are looking at colleges and play soccer.
This was our first year at the VT camp. My son and his teammate came to the camp. They learned new tactical and technical moves they will take back to their team. They enjoyed the college life and the said the food was amazing! We enjoyed being able to watch their evening games. They will definitely return next year.
I would attend this camp again because the level of training is excellent and the level of the coaching is beyond anything else I have experienced. Thanks you for the great week.

This camp was so much fun! It was a great experience to have with my friends since a couple of my teammates attended the camp with me. I also made some new friends that I hope to see again next year. My coach was a super soccer player and he did a great job helping me to be better too. I can't wait to go back next year.
My son, a rising senior, had an outstanding experience at the Nike Soccer Camp at Virginia Tech. The training, coaching enthusiasm, and level of competition were excellent. He is striving to have his best year yet, and feels the camp was an excellent addition to his summer program.
Fantastic camp for kids! Excellent coaches and a great opportunity to improve and expand upon current soccer skills. Highly recommend this Nike camp. Our son has attended the last 2 years and has learned a great deal.
Best camp I've ever attended. I've even experienced ODP and UVA camp. VT camp was absolutely the best coaching I've seen. Wow!
We have seen a big improvement in our son's skills since attending camp. He had a great time and before the parents left they made it very clear that the staff was there for the children day or night and made sure the littler ones understood they could come and get them anytime for any reason- which made me and my son feel comfortable.

Interacting and receiving direction from the collegiate players/coaches. Making new friends that love the sport.
The very well planned and organized practice sessions. The street ball and small sided were also very fun.
According to son, the food. But for us the experience of being away and learning from great coaching staff.
My son enjoyed getting to know the coach for his group. The relationship building is such a positive thing!
Having the coaching staff mentor me on recruiting topics, meeting other players, and improving on known skills.
Making new friends while playing soccer and the excellent food.
Overall experience--this is one of the few camps that allows an overnight college experience with high quality soccer
The overall experience of playing with friends, learning from the coaches and the independence learned by staying in a dorm
11v11, 4v4, and the 8v8 tournamnet were all very fun, and the training sessions were also very good. All time at the fields.
The staff/coaches make this so fun for the boys! Experiencing a little taste of freedom on a college campus is an added bonus!
My son was challenged and felt encouraged by the coaches to work hard to improve. The campus was also a great experience for him.
The quality of the playing fields and coaching were outstanding. Virginia Tech's campus is perfectly suited for the camp experience.
The possibility of sharing the passion for soccer among children from many places. Spending the night at the dorm was the highlight for my son, it was a great experience.
The boys staying on their own and learning some responsibility about cleanliness
The bonding experience it provided for my son and his teammates
The overall experience my son received, learning independence and responsibility.
Lukas loves the freedom they are given at camp. He enjoys being responsible for his schedule. The food is always a hit. The coaches have been fantastic and Lukas always talks about how much fun he has with his team/coach.
The facilities at Virginia Tech are as good as it gets. They get great players to come to the camp which makes it very enjoyable camp.
Great tactical and technical training. Met lots of great coaches made new friends.
I would like to see the camp take place for a longer period of time! 2.5-3 days is just not long enough when traveling from Cincinnati, OH. My son really enjoyed the experience and even though he is only going into 8th grade I think he gained an appreciation for what a great school Virginia Tech is but a cumulative 22 hours of driving in 4 days is too much. Thanks for the great experience!
Nike soccer camp was a great experience. The coaches and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful in perfecting my game. I would recommend this camp to anyone!!
My two boys have enjoyed the camp for the past three summers and have recommended to friends and teammates. Always a great experience.
This camp was a great experience. The food was fantastic and the air conditioned dorm was a plus. My son went with a group from his team and had a blast. We would definitely recommend this camp to other soccer players.

My son learned about communicating with teammates and the importance of spacing. He loved the whole experience from the dining hall, to the workouts, to the awesome facilities!

I felt quite safe leaving my child at Virginia Tech. The coach made a wonderful appeal as to the expectations of the campers during their stay at Virginia Tech. All of the staff were very helpful and engaged us as we registered.
The training was excellent. Best I've experienced, and I've been to a lot of soccer camps.
