The Marquette University Elite Boys Soccer Camp, offering both overnight and commuter options, is designed to provide a fun, challenging, and competitive environment for ambitious soccer players ages 9–14. Campers receive direct instruction from Marquette University coaches and players, along with a select group of hand-picked staff. The camp features a blend of high-level training sessions and full-sided matches, allowing players to sharpen their skills and apply them in realistic game settings. A structured goalkeeper curriculum is also included.

Our goal is for every camper to have a memorable experience alongside friends and teammates while competing against top youth talent from across the area and the Midwest.

At the core of our camp is a strong commitment to player development. Our staff is dedicated to helping each athlete progress to the next level of their game while growing in confidence, character, and love for the sport. We understand the investment families make and strive to deliver a high-quality, impactful camp experience.     Camp Director/ Head Coach

    The 2024 season will be the first season for David Korn as the head coach for the Golden Eagles men’s soccer team. Before coming to Marquette, Korn spent eight seasons at NCAA Division II Maryville University in St. Louis.

    During his tenure at Maryville, which began in 2016, Korn compiled a record of 98-38-26 and led the Saints to three Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) tournament championships in 2018, 2020-21, and 2022, and a GLVC regular season championship in 2022, while Korn was named GLVC Co-Coach of the Year.

    Under Korn’s tutelage, Maryville notched six consecutive NCAA tournament appearances (2017-23).

    Korn’s ability to develop players was evident during his time at Maryville. He coached three major Great Lakes Valley Conference award winners, five All-Americans, 20 United Soccer Coaches All-Region players and 34 all-conference selections. He has helped eight players advance to professional opportunities.

    In 2023, Maryville finished the season with a 12-4-6 record before ultimately falling 3-2 in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament.

    Korn served as the co-head coach at SIUE in 2014. In his first season with the program, he led SIUE to its first Missouri Valley Conference tournament championship and a bid to the NCAA Division I tournament. In 2015, Korn served as the program's associate head coach.

    Prior to SIUE, Korn worked for three years at Wright State University and was promoted to associate head coach in 2012. He helped the Raiders earn two Horizon League tournament bids and an appearance in the 2011 championship game.

    Korn spent the 2008-10 seasons at the University of Denver and helped the program to two NCAA tournament bids. Korn’s first collegiate position was as an assistant coach at Lafayette College in 2007. He helped the Leopards post a 10-4-6 record and reach the championship game of the Patriot League tournament.

    A native of Tucson, Ariz., Korn graduated from the University of Arizona in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in business management. He earned a master's degree in organizational leadership from the University of Denver in 2010.

    Sean Clancy will be entering his second year as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles.

    Clancy started his coaching career at Maryville University before the 2019 season. In his four seasons, the Saints won a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Championships while making the NCAA Tournament in every possible year. In 2022, the team won the first GLVC Regular Season Championship in program history.

    Clancy spent the 2018 season as a goalkeeper of Vrigstad IF in Sweden, which is a division IV team in the club ranks. Prior to his stop overseas, he played for a year at both the University of Missouri-Kansas City and at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Clancy earned his degree in chemistry from UMKC while playing overseas last season.

    Clancy, a native of St. Louis, Missouri and played his high school soccer at Rockwood Summit High School, where he graduated in 2013.

    Mallace enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Marquette men's soccer program in 2024.

    Mallace joined the Golden Eagles after working most recently under Steve Bode for three seasons (2021-23) at Loyola Chicago. During his tenure with the Ramblers, Mallace compiled a 26-9-14 record, including an Atlantic 10 tournament championship match.

    Mallace began his coaching career at Northwestern in January 2020, assuming the role of Director of Player Development before being promoted to assistant coach just six months later. During his time in Evanston, Ill., he oversaw the development of a pair of All-Big Ten Conference honorees in Ugo Achara, Jr. and Rom Brown.

    Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Mallace, a native of Torphichen, Scotland, enjoyed an impressive professional career that included stops with Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Montreal Impact (2012-17), Seattle Sounders (2017), and Los Angeles FC (2018), making 85 appearances during his MLS career. The 20th overall pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft by the Impact, Mallace also spent the 2019 season with Austin Bold FC of the USL Championship.

    A two-time All-BIG EAST Conference selection during his time at Marquette University, Mallace racked up 13 goals and 13 assists across 69 career appearances for the Golden Eagles. As a senior, he was tabbed a Second Team All-American by College Soccer News in addition to being named the BIG EAST’s Midfielder of the Year.

    Zach Neiberger will be entering his second year as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles.

    Neiberger spent his third season as lead assistant with St. Cloud State Men's Soccer in 2023. Appointed in July 2020 as the first assistant on the Huskies' inaugural coaching staff, Neiberger helped build the first NCAA DII Men's Soccer program in the state of Minnesota. In 2023, Neiberger helped SCSU achieve a program record in total points and conference points as the Huskies went on to host their first conference playoff game in program history.

    Under Neiberger's tutelage, eight student-athletes have earned All-GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) honors in the program's first three seasons. Throughout his young club and collegiate coaching career, Neiberger helped develop three future MLS Super Draft selections.

    Prior to his appointment at St. Cloud State, Neiberger spent two seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DIII program Hamline. Neiberger has previously coached club with with Minneapolis United Soccer Club and was a Lead Coach for the MNUFC pre-academy. Originally from Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Southwest standout and prep All-American was named to the IMG Academy 150 Player Pool in 2014 as one of the top 150 players in the country per TopDrawerSoccer. Neiberger went on to play collegiately at NCAA DI programs San Diego State and UW-Milwaukee.

    Neiberger earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from St. Cloud State University and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Sports Management.

LOCATION

The Elite Boys Soccer Camp will be held at St. John’s Northwestern Academy. The campus offers a beautiful setting, dorm-style housing, and top-tier athletic facilities, creating an ideal environment for a safe, fun, and exciting camp experience. Kids love the campus as it reminds them of going to “Hogwarts” for soccer camp!

  • Day 1: Dinner will be provided for all campers. Please eat lunch prior to arrival.

All meals are served in the campus cafeteria and are all-you-can-eat, featuring a wide variety of options to ensure campers are properly fueled and their dietary needs are met.

Please refer to the camp schedule below for a tentative meal schedule. If your camper has any dietary restrictions or food allergies, contact our camp administrators in advance so we can coordinate appropriate accommodations with the kitchen.

  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual, If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

  • Linens: Not provided. Bring linens (Twin XL) or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel

  • Air Conditioning: No A/C. (Recommend bringing a Fan)

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from the Marquette coaching staff, plus other college coaches.

  • Meals: Overnight campers have three meals a day

  • Supervision: Staff members reside in rooms strategically placed throughout the dorm to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

  • Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt

  • Room Key & Deposit: Each camper participating in the overnight camp receives a room key with the lanyard giving access to his dorm. US Sports Camps will charge $100 for lost keys.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes and a water bottle.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Arrangements can be made with our Health Professionals to store medications that require refrigeration. Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Ice Policy: Ice is available to campers for medical purposes only during training hours.

Footwear Reminder: Campers should break in new shoes prior to camp to help prevent blisters and discomfort during the week.

Injuries or Concerns: If your player is injured or having difficulty at camp, they should notify a staff member immediately. We also encourage parents to contact us directly if needed. Our staff is most effective when players communicate openly with us.

LOST & FOUND

The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Clearly label all belongings, including soccer balls.

  • Place your name and address inside wallets.

  • Label cell phones and other electronics.

CELL PHONE & ELECTRONICS POLICY

General Guidelines

  • Cell phones are not necessary, as staff are always available if a camper needs to call home.

  • Phones are permitted in dorm rooms only.

  • Phones may NOT be used during camp activities, training sessions, meals, or while walking to/from training.

  • We recommend leaving electronics in locked dorm rooms during activities.

  • Portable speakers are not allowed.

Younger Campers
Cell phones are not recommended for younger campers. Frequent communication home can increase homesickness and create miscommunication through texting. With three training sessions per day, most players prefer rest; music with headphones is a better option if needed.

Responsibility & Conduct

  • Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged electronics.

  • Camp does not monitor online activity.

  • Devices with cameras must never be used in locker rooms, restrooms, or changing areas.

  • Devices should never be used at the expense of another camper’s comfort or privacy.

  • Marquette Soccer Camps are open to boys within the specified age ranges listed for each camp. Camps are designed for players of varying experience levels who are motivated to learn, improve, and compete in a challenging and fun environment.

  • The Elite Boys Camp will be held at (St. John’s Northwestern Academy 1101 N Genesee St, Delafield, WI 53018). The campus provides a safe and engaging setting with excellent athletic facilities and comfortable, dorm-style housing for overnight campers.

  • Camps are led by Marquette University Soccer coaches and players, along with a select group of hand-picked coaches. All staff members are committed to providing a positive, professional, and development-focused experience for every camper.

  • Campers are supervised at all times by camp staff and counselors. Dormitories, meals, training sessions, and activities are closely monitored to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

  • Campers should bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic clothing, a water bottle, bedding, towels, toiletries, and any personal items needed for the duration of camp. A full packing list will be emailed to registered families prior to camp and is also available on the webpage.

  • Yes. All meals are provided for overnight campers, beginning with lunch on the first day of camp and ending with breakfast on the final day (depending on camp schedule). For commuter they receive lunch and dinner at the same time as overnight campers, but don’t get breakfast.

  • Yes. Every effort will be made to accommodate roommate requests, provided both campers list each other during registration.

  • No physical is required, however each player is required to provide medical consent and liability waiver during the registration process.

  • Typical spending money at camp is $60 – $80 for the session.
