Join us for an amazing week of camp at Nike Girls Soccer Camp at NIU - Collegiate Experience in Dekalb, Illinois. Team up with Camp Director and Northern Illinois University Women's Soccer Head Coach Michael O'Neill for the ultimate soccer training camp! With a mix of traditional and modern soccer coaching methodologies, the curriculum is one that allows every camper the opportunity to continue to progress to a higher level of soccer play. Sure to be a summer highlight, camp offers a unique opportunity for aspiring soccer players aged 10-18, to train in a FUN and engaging camp setting! Throughout the week campers learn new skills, perfect techniques, increase game knowledge, make new friends and have fun playing soccer!
This camp is open to any and all entrants limited only by age, grade, gender or number of participants.

Women's Soccer Head Coach - Northern Illinois University Michael O'neill
Michael O’Neill has been selected as the new head coach of the Northern Illinois University women’s soccer program, NIU Vice President and Director of Athletics Sean T. Frazier announced on Monday (March 14). O’Neill joins the Huskies as the sixth head coach in program history after leading Saginaw Valley State for the past eight years, guiding the Cardinals to the NCAA Tournament three times.

Assistant Coach Laurence Paterson
Northern Illinois University women's soccer head coach Michael O'Neill announced the hiring of assistant coach Laurence Paterson to the Huskie soccer staff on Wednesday (July 6). Paterson comes to NIU following three seasons as an assistant coach with the Saginaw Valley State men's and women's soccer programs.

Assistant Coach Valentina Giambanco
Northern Illinois University women’s soccer head coach Michael O’Neill announced the addition of Valentina Giambanco to the Huskie soccer staff as an assistant coach on Thursday (July 28). Giambanco comes to DeKalb following two seasons as the head varsity girls soccer coach at New Haven (Mich.) High School.

HOUSING
The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change each year. Final housing information for this camp will be provided in the Information Packet, emailed to all campers closer to the camp’s start date.
Number of Campers Per Room: 2
Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual, If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
Linens: Not provided. Bring twin sized linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel
Air Conditioning: Yes, AC is available in dorms
Campers will receive access cards upon arrival
Campers will be charged ($10) for lost access card
EXTENDED DAY INFORMATION
- Day Camp Hours: 9:00am-9:00pm
- Daily Check-In & out: NIU Track and Field & Soccer Complex
- Campers will check in at 1:00pm at Grant Hall Tower on the first day
- Meals: Day 1: Dinner | Day 2: Lunch, Dinner
- A closing ceremony will take place approximately 30 minutes prior to camp check-out on the last day. Parents are invited to attend! Departure immediately follows the closing ceremony.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Training from the Northern Illinois University Women's Soccer coaching staff.
- Meals & Housing: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
- Supervision: Staff members reside in rooms strategically placed throughout the dorm to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
- Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:

- Comfortable off-court clothing (pants/shorts, shirts, sweatshirts, 1 pair/day)

SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out once the order has processed.

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
