Nike Camp was Awesome!

Nike camp was awesome! We stayed in actual college dorms and got to experience amazing campus lifestyle. If you love soccer you will love Nike Soccer Camps, the players are competitive and come at every level. The instructors were young and fun and we all had a great time. We played a perfect amount of soccer each day. You make a lot of fun friends at camp and you will always want to come back.

Only good things to say

My son only had good things to say about the camp, the coaches, the food and after camp activities--he chatted all the way home about it! He was tired and a bit sore, but that means he worked hard, perfect! See you next year.

Take it to the next level

This camp is absolutely the perfect camp for kids that want to take it to the next level! The dorms were great, staff was unbelievable, fields were top notch, even the food was awesome. My daughter's been to other soccer camps that she liked in the past but said she'd do the Elmhurst Nike Camp over anything next year.

Worth every cent!

My son had a great time at your camp. I have never seen him so motivated and excited. He is still new to the sport but he feels that the camp made all the difference in improving his game. He shared his evaluation with his coach at his H.S. Summer league team. I was able to attend each evening match and enjoyed watching him grow as a player, and his fellow team mates. I was impressed with the level that coaches instructed the players and how they responded to the positive reinforcement they were receiving. I could tell that this was worth every cent! Your coaching staff is excellent. My son has already asked if he could attend next year and you can bet he will be there.

Gained Confidence and New Skills

My daughter really enjoyed her experience at the Nike camp both on the field and off the field. She came home with a tremendous amount of confidence and some new skills, but most importantly she had a lot of fun. I’m confident she’ll want to return to the Nike camp next year hopefully she’ll see some of the friends that she made.

Very hot

It was very hot and they didn't always have enough water for the kids. Also, maybe a little more warning about where the games are scheduled each night...which field the kids will play on, etc.

Saw immediate results

I enrolled my son for the Nike Soccer Camp for the first time. My son has been playing club soccer for several years and has seen improvement in his skills, however, after he attended the 1st session of the camp we saw immediate results with his skills, quickness, strategy development, recognition of formations, and better communication with his club teammates. We enrolled him in the 2nd session of the camp and again outstanding results! The coaches were the best!.

This was my daughter's first away soccer camp and she loved the entire experience! The instructors were helpful, friendly and caring, and provided top-notch instruction. She felt safe and secure throughout all of the practices, activities, and overnights during the three days.

My daughter was a bit nervous at first but by the time I talked to her that evening, she had 4 new best friends and awesome coaches. She was challenged from the beginning to the end of the camp. Really loved the specialized striker training. Very very happy with the camp - will definitely be back!

My son came back from this camp feeling that they helped him with improving his game. He felt that this camp stood apart because of the people that were running the camp. He would love to do it again next year.

Nike Soccer Camp was a great experience overall! I loved all of the coaches, The skills that they were teaching were great, and the way the taught the skills was great. I was sad to leave at the end of the week, and I want to go back next year!

The Nike Soccer Camp at Elmhurst College was an amazing experience for our 12-year old son. The 3-day overnight program offered a terrific balance of field instruction and scrimmages. He also had a total blast at the evening events and made new friends. We'll be back next year!

Appropriate instruction for all levels

I feel like Nike soccer camps do amazingly well at providing instruction at an appropriate level for all of the campers. Things where never too easy for the older kids and never too hard for the younger kids. They pushed all of us to work as hard as we could and to grow.

Organized

Easy and efficient check-in for campers, good communication with parents, opening and closing ceremonies are well-done and informative, instructors are friendly, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable.

Great experence

The Nike soccer camp was a great experience. Not only did he get to stay overnight, but the camp counselors were experienced players and he learned a ton. He loved the skills and drills and the variety of fun and challenging competition and I loved the sparc testing and assessment that let me know his strengths and weaknesses. We will definitely be back next year.

Recommend to others

I recommend this camp to anyone who really wants to go somewhere with their soccer career. not only did I make lots of freinds and have fun but I learned a lot and got a feeling of what it's like to be a college player. Camper

Success of a Soccer Camper

Just thought you would like to hear some success of your Nike Camp soccer player. Colin attend this past summer the last session and received MVP of the camp. He went on to play as a Freshman for Metea Valley. He was a co-captain on the team and won the Meatea Valley Freshman Soccer MVP award. He really enjoyed the camp and was able to put the skills he learned into playing in high school.

Had a Terrific Time!

Our son had a terrific time and thoroughly enjoyed himself. The staff made him feel comfortable, free to learn and be creative, and safe in all ways. It was his first time away and he was not home sick at all. This was in part due to the intense schedule of training but also due to the invested staff.

VERY organized

I would highly recommend this camp. It is VERY organized. The staff/coaches are patient, encouraging, helpful, and kind. We had 3 boys participate and each coach pushed our boys just beyond their comfort level. It was neat to see their improvement. This is our 2nd year and we will be back again for sure (we planned our family vacation around this camp). Thank you to the amazing coaches/staff! You're truly wonderful!!!

My husband and I want to thank you and your staff personally, for the great experience our daughter had at your camp! One of the counselors took extra care of our daughter the 2nd night, as she was a bit hesitant about staying over. Her name was Ally and she was awesome, Hallie thought she was amazing!! Hallie has been playing soccer for about 3-4 years and been on a travel team for the past 2 years with Kickers in Aurora. After the camp she was so excited, winning the golden boot award was the icing on the cake for her!! In short, thanks for putting this camp on and your focus on motivation and positive attitude. It was awesome for Hallie and we will look to put her in another of your Nike camps, if not this year then next year for sure!!

First Time Camper

First time my son ever attended an overnight camp of any sort. He had a great time meeting new friends, and he felt very comfortable in the setting in which he was placed. He enjoyed the coaching staff very much and appreciated their instruction and insight. He also enjoyed the staff playfulness! He came home with a new vision for his participation in the game. He looks forward to putting his new education to use this fall. He would very much like to go back if possible next year. Thank you for making this such a positive experience for my son.

Excellent communication

The Elmhurst location was well organized and communication between parents & staff was excellent. Excellent instruction was given to my child that will help him greatly in his upcoming soccer season.

Professional coaches, friendly staff, great facilities. Program combined skills, soccer play and fun (night) activities. Really liked the in-class lessons.

The Director, David DiTomasso - his opening speech to the campers and parents was inspiring and motivating. I left son feeling he was in great hands. Communication was also on point, we always knew what was going on and I felt I had access to contacting him if ever needed. Also, my son said he thinks he became a better player when asked how it was - what more could we ask for?!

From a parents perspective, the communication and registration process was very organized. The coaches were also very friendly and welcoming.

Nolan seemed to really enjoy bubble soccer and the experience with the staff/coaches.

The highlight was by far the staff. Coaches Dave, Abby, Ted, Pablo, Oscar and Connor went above and beyond!

Confidence in her game has improved

Quinn really liked the coaches and other campers. She enjoyed the drills and the classroom sessions. She also enjoyed the kids activities when they were off the field. Quinn's confidence in her game has improved.
