Come improve your skills with Nike Soccer Camp at Framingham State University! Campers focus on all aspects of the game including refining fundamental skills and positional work through challenging exercises and scrimmages.

A Step Ahead (ASA) Nike Soccer Camps are designed for a player looking to improve their game and soccer IQ. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offense/defense, team play, and more. Instruction is available to boys and girls, playing at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Players are evaluated on the first day and placed in groups on age and ability. Improve your skills and meet new friends this summer at the Nike Soccer Camp at Framingham State University!

    Camp Director & ASA Director of Soccer

    Steve Cimino is a highly respected youth development specialist, accomplished performance coach, and the Director of Soccer for ASA, bringing elite‑level experience and a proven track record of developing players at every stage of the game. Known for blending technical excellence with cutting‑edge performance training, Steve has worked with athletes from grassroots levels all the way to the professional ranks, making him one of the most impactful coaching leaders in the region.

    Camp Director & ASA Director of Soccer

    Steve launched his coaching career with the New England Revolution Academy, one of MLS’s most prestigious youth development systems. There, he trained and developed top young players, helping them reach the technical and tactical demands of elite competition. His success within the academy led to a promotion as the club’s Sports Performance Manager, where he created the Revolution’s highly successful Speed & Finishing Program, a model that continues to influence youth development pathways today. During his time with the Revolution, Steve also had the opportunity to work directly with the First Team, and he continues to train several MLS players on an individual basis.

    After graduating from Westfield University, Steve broadened his coaching impact across multiple levels of the game. He worked with Massachusetts District Select Teams and served as the Strength and Assistant Coach for the Mass Bay College Soccer Team, helping collegiate athletes build both technical growth and physical performance. His commitment to coaching education is reflected in his credentials, which include the NSCAA National Diploma, ISSA Certified Trainer, and the ICA Fitness & Conditioning for Soccer License.

    Today, as Director of Soccer for ASA, Steve leads with a player‑first philosophy built on positivity, development, and high‑level instruction. His combination of MLS academy experience, performance training background, and passion for youth development makes him a standout leader and an inspiring mentor for every athlete he coaches.

    With deep expertise, professional pedigree, and a relentless commitment to player growth, Coach Steve Cimino brings unmatched value to ASA and to every young player who steps onto the field under his guidance.

    All ASA coaches are fully trained, certified, and registered, ensuring that every camper receives top‑quality instruction in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. With a strong focus on fundamentals, confidence‑building, and player growth, our staff is committed to helping every athlete improve, stay motivated, and enjoy an unforgettable camp experience.

CAMP INFO

You can expect high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

  • Camp Dates:

    • July 13-16, 2026 (Mon-Thurs)

    • July 27-30, 2026 (Mon-Thurs)

  • Ages: 7-16

  • Gender: Coed

  • Full-Day: 8:30 am - 2:30 pm**

  • Half Day: 8:30 am - 11:30 pm*

  • Check-In & Out Location: Framingham State University
  • Meals: Lunch is NOT included. Please send your camper with a packed lunch

*Check-in starts 15 minutes before camp start time

**Friday camp ends at 12pm for all campers

Camp award show will be held 30 minutes before check out on the last day of camp. Parents are welcome to attend

Nike Soccer Camps provide a fun and challenging environment where players are grouped by age and ability to maximize development. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers sharpen their technical skills through focused training, small-sided games, and dynamic drills, building confidence and a passion for the game along the way.

HEALTH SAFETY & REGULATIONS

*All Massachusetts camps must comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health. Campers can complete the MA specific health forms after adding their campers under their profile in the customer portal.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from the ASA coaching staff

  • Day campers: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

  • Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

  • Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

  • Facility: Framingham State University

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Small gym bag/backpack

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
