WHO IS THIS CAMP FOR
This camp is for soccer players of all levels who want to improve their game in a fun, structured, and supportive environment. Players will develop their skills through technical training, small-sided games, and high-repetition touches on the ball. Each day builds on the last, with a clear curriculum that introduces a new training focus throughout the week. Families stay connected to the learning process through a daily recap email that highlights what was covered in camp, along with simple talking points and questions to continue the conversation at home. The co-ed format brings together players of different ages and abilities, creating a positive and competitive environment where every camper can grow and be challenged appropriately.

SUPERVISION, MEDICAL PROTOCOL & TRANSPORTATION
Campers are supervised throughout the camp day by trained staff members who are strategically positioned to ensure a safe and positive experience. Coaches and staff actively participate in all activities and monitor campers during training sessions, breaks, and downtime.
Most camps have an athletic trainer on site to assist with illness or injury. In the event of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital and parents will be contacted immediately.
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for arriving at camp on their own and being picked up promptly at the end of each day. Please note that supervision is only provided during official camp hours, so early drop‑off or late pick‑up is not permitted.
INCLEMENT WEATHER & SUMMER HEAT PROTOCOL
The Nike Soccer Camp at Metropolitan State University of Denver is intentionally planned to help campers stay comfortable, energized, and engaged throughout the summer. With built‑in rest periods, access to indoor space, and an experienced on‑site staff, the camp creates a balanced daily schedule that supports both training quality and overall camper well‑being.
To help manage warmer conditions and support a positive camp experience, the program includes:
- Shaded areas available throughout training sessions
- Scheduled hydration breaks every 20–30 minutes
- Access to an air‑conditioned indoor classroom during peak heat
- Indoor, air‑conditioned space for lunch with extended time to rest and rehydrate
- Daily schedules designed to balance activity, learning, and recovery
The camp operates under a clear weather and comfort plan, with a certified athletic trainer on site to provide guidance on weather considerations and best practices. Coaches are prepared to adjust training sessions as needed by shortening activities, increasing hydration and shade time, and allowing additional rest breaks. This thoughtful approach ensures campers can stay safe, have fun, learn new skills, and build friendships, all while enjoying a well‑organized and supportive camp environment.
