A great opportunity for players to learn through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play. With a number of different camp options for all to enjoy!

Goalkeeper Training

The GK training portion of this camp is geared towards players who are seeking to develop their individual technical skills. The Goalkeeper-specific training sessions are developed around the vision of strengthening the foundation of a goalkeeper’s technique. The idea of beginning with technical work and then transferring the technique into realistic scenarios will give goalkeepers the idea of how to use their skills within game-like situations. There will be 2-3 sessions hosted during the day to develop these techniques. Goalkeepers will then have the opportunity to transfer their skills onto the field for small-sided and full-field matches. This camp will leave your goalkeepers feeling more confident in their abilities to stand strong and tall in the net.

The Pepsi Stadium serves as the home for both men’s and women’s soccer as well as men’s and women’s lacrosse. Constructed in 2005 to be home of NGU soccer, the Pepsi Stadium seats approximately 1,000 fans, and has a functional concession stand to serve refreshments. The clubhouse also serves as the central hub for players and coaches, housing upstairs office space, as well as locker rooms. The new artificial playing surface, installed early in 2014 is the same playing surface used in the Younts Stadium, and is the only FIFA-certified playing surface in the south eastern United States.
