This Nike Soccer Camp offers a fantastic opportunity for players to improve their game this summer, join Head Coach Mike Winn at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY to develop your skills and tactical awareness. The camp will focus on team play, technical development, core fundamentals and position specifics. Campers will have an unforgettable experience while receiving unmatched training from college coaches on the Pace University campus.

Camp is open to players of all abilities and will be grouped based on age and skill level.

    Camp Director

    Mike Winn has been directing soccer camps at Pace University for the past 26 years. Coach Winn and his staff strive to create an enjoyable learning opportunity to help each camper improve as a soccer player.

    Coach Winn started the women’s soccer program in 1998 and served as the head coach at Pace University for 22 years in which the program had 13 winning seasons and 10 post season appearances . Winn currently serves as the Associate Athletic Director at Pace University overseeing both the men’s and women’s soccer programs. Winn also serves as the Director of the Quickstrike FC program that operates out of Pace University.

    Ahead of the 2025 Fall season, Ed Evans headlines as the first Men's Soccer head coach after the program's 35-year hiatus from the Pace Athletics sports catalog.Prior to his newest role, he worked alongside Associate Athletic Director and former Women’s head coach, Mike Winn, as the Associate Head Coach from 2013 to present day and took over as head coach in the 2024 season.

    During his time on the sideline, he assisted the women’s soccer team in tying a school record of most wins in a single season with 12 in 2016.

    He continues to make his mark in the soccer community by being part of the ownership group for the Hudson Valley Hammers and holds the title of Director of Soccer Operations. Additionally, in the Summer of 2022, he was named the head coach of the USL2 team working with elite collegiate level and academy aged players.

    As an predominant role in youth soccer in the early 2000s, Coach Evans was one of the top youth coaches in the Northeast. Back in 2009, he led the U-18 Boys East Fishkill Thunder to the Eastern New York State Championship before becoming the first Hudson Valley Region youth soccer team in history, boys or girls, to capture the US Youth Soccer Association U18 Bys Region 1 Championship and advancing to the 2009 USYSA National Finals.

    Coach Evans is a graduate of the current men’s soccer powerhouse, Franklin Pierce University (’95).

    Brittany Soto

    Co-Camp Director

    Brittany Soto joined Pace Athletics in August 2024 as the Associate Head Coach of the Women's Soccer program. Fast forward to January 2025, she was elevated to Head Coach of the team. Prior to making her way to Pace, Soto has spent the last 15 years coaching at the club and high school level where in 2021 and 2022, she coached at Hopkins School, leading the team to the quarterfinals in the FAA.

    Brittany Soto

    Her extensive coaching experience spans multiple renowned clubs along the East Coast, including Knoxville Crush, Tophat Soccer Club, FSA, and CFC, where she has coached a range of levels from developmental to ECNL. In 2015, Coach Soto was awarded Coach of the Year at Knoxville Football Club.

    As a player, she had an impressive collegiate career, playing soccer at Winthrop University and Birmingham-Southern College (BSC). At Winthrop, she played in 30 games and earned a spot on the Big South Honor Roll and at BSC, she played in 36 games, accumulated 6 points, and received accolades including All-Conference Team and the NSCAA All-Region All-Academic team. Following college, Soto continued to excel, playing in the Women’s Premier Soccer League for Pensacola FC and Knoxville Force; was team captain for the 2014 season.

    Academically, Soto holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Birmingham-Southern College. Her commitment to education is further demonstrated by her advanced degrees, including a Master's in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, a Master's in Actuarial Science from Georgia State University, and a Sixth Year in Education from the University of Bridgeport.

    Coach Soto currently coaches at QuickStrike FC and holds a USSF National C license.

SUMMER CAMP INFO:

Nike Soccer Camps provide a fun and challenging environment where players are grouped by age and ability to maximize development. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, campers sharpen their technical skills through focused training, small-sided games, and dynamic drills—building confidence and a passion for the game along the way.

SPECIALIZED GOALKEEPER TRAINING:

  • Goalkeeper-specific training is offered to develop the modern goalkeeper with specific training sessions that will help every level of goalkeeper. Complete goalkeeper focus in all sessions will allow the beginner to the advanced goalkeeper to develop over the week-long camp
  • Each day with have a focus that each camper will be able to apply into game situations throughout the week
  • Beginner and advanced level sessions will be offered

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from the Pace University coaching staff

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper to coach ratio
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
  • Facility: Joseph R. Ianniello Athletic Field House
  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

SOCCER BALLS

Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out before camp. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
