Join us for another amazing camp at Wilder Fields in Orinda, CA. Team up with camp director and owner of Golden Boot Academy, Nigus (Goose) Solomon for the ultimate soccer training camp for players in the Bay Area! Golden Boot Academy is a community driven soccer/athletic program designed to enrich and develop athletes to reach their full potential in their craft. We works with athletes of all ages as they go through their athletic journey. We are a set of coaches that have been through the rigorous and demanding field of athletics with backgrounds ranging from professional soccer overseas to playing for respected universities in California.
Our main goal is to strengthen our community through developing athletes and positive individuals by providing a platform for them to grow and become successful. The end goal is to help these athletes get scholarships to colleges or go on to become professional athletes. With a good support system and some hard work we believe anyone is capable of achieving what they put their mind to.

Director/Founder Nigus Solomon
Nigus has 8 years of coaching experience with ages ranging from 5-Adult for multiple clubs including; East Bay United, Tottenham Spurs (Berkeley), Glens Evolution, and Various high schools in the bay area. Nigus also has experience on the collegiate level having been the third assistant coach for the San Francisco State University’s men’s team in 2019 and currently is the Trainer for Womens Semi pro team NightHawks who compete in the WPSL.

Yohannes has 8 years of coaching experience, with ages ranging from 5-Adult for multiple clubs including; Soccer Without Borders, Dublin United, Bay Oaks, Mill Valley Soccer Club, St John High School, East Bay United and Eclipse Soccer Club.

Justin has 2 year of coaching experience with private and small group training sessions. Having Joined Goldenboot academy as a Client in 2018 and transitioning to a Goldenboot academy coach in 2019 Justin is an amazing addition to the Goldenboot Family and an outstanding coach.

Coach Arman
Arman has been playing competitive soccer since age 8. He played for the mustang club where he won the State 2 times, played in Nationals, and won the Surf Cup once. He also made the championship game of NCS with Monte Vista HS twice. Then he played 4 years at University of Redlands and finished 7th in the nation in the NCAA ranking. He played with Cal United (Orange County), Oakland Roots 510, and Oakland SC before heading to Barcelona, Spain. He played 2 seasons in Spain’s 3rd divisions with Llagostera, and UE Costa Brava where he perfected his “tiki taki” style of football.

CAMP INFO:
This program is geared toward Player Development & High-Performance campers. Players will work on mastering the proper fundamentals, techniques and advancing their overall skills and knowledge of the game. A great opportunity for players to learn through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play. With several different camp options for all to enjoy!
SKILL LEVELS
Player Development is for campers ages 11 and under of all skill levels. These camps are designed to maximize player participation and ensure each camper develops in all aspects of the game in a fun and engaging environment. Coaches will implement a wide range of technical, physical, and tactical activities with a focus on fun so campers get to improve with a smile on their faces.
High Performance is for campers ages 12+ looking to improve their game in a fun and fast-paced environment. These camps are designed so players leave the camp week more prepared for their club and high school seasons. Experienced coaches will provide campers with a fresh perspective and challenge them to develop technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of their game through a progressive curriculum.
*NOTE: If you believe your camper should be in a different skill level than the age requirement listed, please add a note at check-out and mention it to the camp director on day 1.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Training from the Golden Boot Academy coaching staff
Half-Day campers: Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water

Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Facility: Wilder Fields
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out before camp. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.
TEAM DISCOUNT
If you have a group of 4 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $25 discount. If you have a group of 8 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please fill out the Team Discount - Soccer form with the name of your group and the names of each camper enrolling in the camp and we will create a unique discount code for your group.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
