Nike Softball Camps
Nike Softball Camp at Salisbury University is set to be one for the books! Campers train like collegiate athletes at the Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium, building their fielding, hitting, and overall softball skills in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Led by assistant coach Jess Stoltz, now in her 12th year directing the camp, and supported by standout players from Salisbury’s nationally recognized program, athletes learn from a staff whose achievements include 27 NCAA Tournament appearances, 11 World Series trips, four national runner-up finishes, and a long history of All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American honorees.
Campers move through comprehensive skill development, progressing from fundamental instruction to advanced specialty training through structured drill rotations, competitive games, and focused sessions designed to improve performance. With small-group coaching led by Salisbury University’s prestigious athletes, players receive individualized instruction, daily demonstrations, and skill evaluations in age-appropriate groups to ensure steady improvement.
Beyond training, the camp delivers a fun, confidence-building experience, featuring team challenges, the Camper Olympics, a talent show, and daily awards. This balance of high-level instruction and engaging activities helps athletes build skills, make friends, and create lasting memories in a supportive, safe environment.

The Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium opened in March 2017 with a sellout crowd of 500, including nearly 100 alumni of the program as players, coaches and support staff who were on hand to throw out ceremonial first pitches.
The Sea Gulls won the stadium's first game with late-game heroics with a three-run home run in the sixth inning to push Salisbury to a 5-3 win against Clarkson University.
Sea Gull Softball Stadium features seating for 500, a permanent ticket booth and bathrooms, as well as seating area wireless internet access for fans. The playing surface features a clay infield and artificial turf outfield, along with large, heated dugouts.
Other amenities include a press box, four batting cages and a conveniently located home and visiting bullpen.
