at Nike Softball Camps

New camp location in San Diego! Nike Softball Camps is excited to announce the move to San Diego State University! With this move, camp has been extended to include one additional night in the dorms compared to last year. Our partnership with veteran camp director and Positive Coaching Alliance certified coach, Westy McQueen and Biola University softball coach, Kayla Neff will provide campers with an amazing softball experience. Campers will experience what it’s like to be a real collegiate softball player as they will be playing at the beautiful SDSU Softball Stadium, living in the dorms, and eating in the campus dining hall! All this while receiving cheerful, motivating, and expert softball instruction led by Coach Neff.

Summer Overnight Camp

Register for our overnight camp at San Diego State University and enjoy an immersive, on-campus softball experience. Campers reside in the campus dormitories in adjacent rooms to the camp staff while training with current and former college coaches and athletes. The tuition includes housing, meals, and fun evening activities. This program is open to players of all ability levels, ages 10-17, and groups are separated by age and ability level on the first day.

Summer Day Camp

Nike Softball Camps also offers a summer day camp program for local players ages 8-17. This program runs 9:00am-4:00pm (schedule varies by day) and includes daytime training only. Campers will not be provided lunch. This program is open to players of all ability levels, ages 8-17, and groups are separated by age and ability level on the first day.

The Nike Softball Camp at SDSU is open to any and all entrants and limited only by number, age and gender. The Nike Softball Camp at San Diego State University is not owned, sponsored, co-sponsored or controlled by the University.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: June 15-18, 2025
  • Age Group: 8-17
  • Camp Type: Day Camp (8-17) & Overnight (10-17)
  • Day Camp Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday
  • Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily

CAMP TIMES

  • Overnight Campers Check-in: 11:30am-12:00pm at Huaxyacac Hall
  • Day Campers Check-in: 12:00-12:30pm for day campers at Huaxyacac Hall
  • Day Camp Schedule: Sunday, 12:00-4:00pm; Monday-Tuesday, 9:00am-4:00pm; Wednesday, 9:00am-3:30pm. Check-out is following the 3:30pm closing ceremony. Meals are not provided.
  • Orientation (All Campers): 12:30-12:45pm
    • All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
  • Last Day Check-out: Following the closing ceremony at 3:30pm on Wednesday at SDSU Softball Stadium
  • Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at SDSU Softball Stadium. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony

Please Note: Following camp check-in, all overnight campers will have an opportunity to move into their room in the residence hall briefly but please come dressed in your athletic apparel for camp.

HOUSING

  • Dorm: Huaxyacac Hall

  • Campers Per Room: 3

  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!

  • Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin XL) or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.

  • Air Conditioning: Yes

  • Please bring a $100 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC”

PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS

Both campers and parents are invited to join us for evening educational seminars during the week. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a college athlete, and the different paths kids can take in sports. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
