You can expect high demand for these first-come-first-served camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This summer, the camp at Westminster University is offering one session of overnight with a day camp (8:00am-5:00pm) option for boys and girls, ages 10-17. Upon arrival at camp, campers are placed into groups with other swimmers with similar ages and ability levels. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate every camper’s needs, with consideration of their experience and desire to improve.
2026 OVERVIEW OVERNIGHT CAMP

- Check-in: OVERNIGHT campers: 7:30-8:00am at the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center at Westminster University. Following camp check-in, overnight campers will store their luggage in a secure room and return immediately to the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center for Orientation. Overnight campers will be transported to The University of Utah in the late afternoon after the first day of training and will check in to their dormitory at that time. DAY campers: 8:00-8:45am for day campers at the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center at Westminster University. Orientation (All Campers): 8:45-9:00am
- Check-out: 4:00pm on Thursday following the closing ceremony at 3:30pm at the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center at Westminster University.
- Day Schedule: MON 8AM-3:45PM, TUE-WED 9AM-3:45PM, THURS 9AM-3PM **Times subject to change
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.

- Program: The Stroke Technique program is designed to provide competitive swimmers with a better understanding of swimming fundamentals. Stroke refinement along with constructive feedback will be the focus of the camp and allows each participant to gain a greater knowledge of proper stroke mechanics and ways to improve themselves individually.

The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change each year.
Please note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the orientation on the first day and closing ceremony on the final day!
OVERNIGHT CAMP
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. Overnight campers are housed at Westminster University for the duration of the camp.
- After overnight campers check in, parents and campers will receive their room keys and will move into their rooms prior to Orientation.
- Campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
DAY CAMP (9:00AM-4:00PM)
This camp offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only.
PARENT/CAMPER SEMINARS
Both campers and parents are invited to join us for educational seminars on Tuesday evening. The location and schedule will be announced prior to camp. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and more. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
2026 HOUSING
- Dorm: Olwell Hall (apartment-style units with five and six single rooms per unit)
- Number of Campers Per Room: See above
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Linens: Not provided. Please bring twin XL sheets or a sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase and a towel.

SUPERVISION
The staff reside in the dormitories with the campers and participate in all activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund. Note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend orientation and the camp closing ceremony!
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

- Day campers: Instruction and daytime activities only. Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch OR cash to buy lunch on campus.

- Camp T-shirt & Prizes: Campers at multi-day camps will receive a Nike Swim Camps t-shirt and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
- Equipment Needed: Please bring your water swimsuit, swim cap, goggles and towel(s)
- Facility: Dolores Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours, so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
