That’s why we’re proud to partner with US Sports Camps and support families through Uber for teens, designed specifically for teens ages 13–17.*

Whether it’s getting to camp, training sessions, practices, or team activities, Uber teen accounts help families stay connected with always-on safety features, live trip tracking, and real-time updates every step of the way.

Safety Features for Teen Riders- Uber teen accounts were created with always-on safety features designed specifically for younger riders and their families.

Highly Rated Drivers- Teen riders are matched with highly rated drivers. Before anyone can drive with Uber, they must complete a multi-step safety check and are rescreened every year.**

Live Trip Tracking and Real-Time Updates- Parents and guardians can follow along in the Uber app with live trip tracking and status updates from pickup to dropoff. Teen trips are also destination-locked, meaning drivers cannot change the destination during the trip.

PIN Verification- To help teens get into the right vehicle, teen account rides include PIN verification. Before the trip can begin, the driver must enter the rider’s unique PIN into the app.

RideCheck- If a trip goes unusually off course, stops unexpectedly, or ends early, RideCheck checks in through the app to make sure the rider is OK and offers additional support if needed.

Emergency Assistance and In-App Safety Tools- Teen riders always have access to in-app safety features during trips, including the ability to contact 911, report a safety issue, or connect with Uber’s Safety Incident Reporting Line.

Optional Audio Recording- Teen riders can also opt into Uber’s Audio Recording feature, which automatically records audio during trips. Recordings are encrypted and stored securely on the device, and Uber can only access them if they are submitted as part of a safety report.
