Diet with Coach Furst
- Diet plays a huge role in staying healthy and intensifying training regime
- Coach Furst says to “eat the rainbow”. Consume fruits and vegetables of every color at least three times a week
- What you put into your body determines what you will get out
- Diet not only builds muscle mass it also assists in recovery
Recovery with Coach Furst
- Your body needs to get at least 8 hours of sleep to properly recover.
- After training, Furst recommends a 12-minute ice bath
- This ice bath must occur within 3 hours of your race for optimal results
- Your body may hurt at the time of the ice bath, but the long term benefits will help your future training.
