How softball players should prepare and stay healthy for the season

There is a lot that goes into preparing for a season and staying healthy throughout. Much of the preparation for softball players is not just on the field, but also off the field.

Mental strategy can prove to be a huge factor when preparing for your season and for each game. Routines can be become very beneficial for your body and mind to prepare yourself. “Be willing to tweak routines based off previous successes and failures. Keep a journal to help you remember the good and learn from the bad” says coach of the Scrap Yard Dawgs and Nike Softball Camp Director.

Eating healthy and getting proper rest will help you achieve your goals and stay healthy throughout the season. These routines help softball players in Texas be successful, they just be diligent with implementation and become a student of the game.
