  • My daughter played on her high school JV volleyball team last year as a freshman; tryouts for this year started in a week or so. She knew no one at this camp and was definitely out of her comfort zone. She attended the UMD volleyball camp back-to-back with this Gettysburg camp. My daughter had a blast! She had nothing but great things to say about the head coach and all the assistants. How much she learned. How much fun she had. She said she had lots of time with the coach. She connected immediately with her roommates.

    Rachel Selmore

    Co-Director

Selmore joined the Bullets staff for the 2022 season after spending the last four seasons as an assistant coach at Piedmont. She returns to the Bullets staff for her fourth season in 2025.

Prior to joining the Lions' staff, she spent the 2017 as an assistant at Mount Union, where she helped the Raiders to a 25-5 record.

In four seasons on the sidelines in Demorest, Piedmont recorded 36 wins that included making the USA South tournament in both 2018 and 2019. In 2019, the Lady Lions dropped a close 3-2 battle against Covenant in the opening round. In her first season, Selmore helped Piedmont make a run to the USA South tournament final. The Lions entered the conference tournament as the No. 4 seed but won three straight with an upset over top-seeded Covenant and second-seeded William Peace. The run ended against Meredith in the championship match, falling 3-0 to the top-seeded East Division Avenging Angels.

During her time at Mount Union, Selmore helped the team to a third-place finish in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) and an 11-match win streak to start the season. Selmore served as a special advisor to the freshman athletes to help with their transition into the college game.

Selmore also monitored the Raiders strength and conditioning training over the 2017 season while helping in recruiting and scouting efforts throughout the year. The Raiders’ 25-5 record in 2017 was the best record since the 2014 season when they won 29 contests.

She also has experience at the club level as well with both Cutshot Volleyball Club and Infinity Volleyball Club. She served as assistant coach at Cutshot Volleyball in New Jersey then as head coach at Infinity Volleyball in Ohio.

Selmore spent her playing days at Ramapo from 2013-16 as an outside hitter and setter for the Roadrunners. She was named New Jersey Atlantic Conference Rookie Athlete of the Week in 2013 and led the team with 306 kills that season.

She also was a member of the 2013 Garden Empire Volleyball Association 18-Open Regional Championship Team.

Selmore graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2017 with a degree in social science.

SCHOLARSHIPS

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
