US Sports and Nike Basketball Camps are excited to present a week of basketball Camp with Arlington Country Day Coach, Rex Morgan, this summer at Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex. A nationally recognized coach, Coach Morgan will direct a week of camp designed for players of all ages and abilities who are looking to improve this summer!
This camp will focus on individual skill development. Any young player looking to maintain his or her skills over the summer is encouraged to attend this week of camp. All NIKE basketball camps maintain a player to coach ratio of 8:1 and is staffed by high school and collegiate coaches as well as college players.
Campers will get personal instruction from our coaches who are enthusiastic about teaching basketball fundamentals and improving each campers' skills. You can expect to emerge a more confident player after this fun and challenging week of camp!

The Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex houses five full court basketball courts. It is conveniently located at the corner of I-95 and Emerson St. exit #347. Centrally located in Jacksonville, Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex is a convenient and approximate 30 minute drive from the beaches and Orange Park.

Camp Director
Rex Morgan
Coach Morgan is the Head Basketball Coach for Arlington Country Day School, leading ACD into a national powerhouse. Morgan was a two-year starter at Jacksonville University. Playing guard from 1968-70 for the Dolphins. Once completing his career here at JU, he ranked second all time at JU in career scoring average (22.0), ranked first in career assists (359) and fifth in free throws made (344). Also notable, Morgan earned the Helms Foundation All-America honors in 1969 after posting the second-best scoring average in JU history (26.7 ppg)
Also during the 1968-69 season, Morgan set the JU record for free throws made in a season with 215. In his next season, 1969-70, helped led the Dolphins to the NCAA National Championship game by averaging 18.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Once completing that remarkable season, he earned 1970 Mideast Regional All-Tournament team honors after scoring more than 20 points in three straight games to led the Dolphins at the regional.
Since his stellar JU career, Morgan was taken in the second round by Boston Celtics in 1970. He played two seasons with the Celtics (1970-71 & 71-72) while scoring 172 points in two seasons, dishing out 39 assists and bringing down 91 boards. Since the NBA, Morgan has been the head men's basketball coach of the nationally-ranked Arlington Country Day in Jacksonville
Complete Skills: This program is intended to help players develop athletically. The individual camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. This program also includes a curriculum for intermediate/ advanced players looking to enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play, and more.
