High Performance Instruction…Every Position!

From the beginner to the elite lacrosse player, our camps provide a challenge to every camper. On day one, campers are divided into three divisions (D1, D2, D3) and evaluated by our coaching staff. Once your talent level is assessed, you are placed into a smaller group within your division for individual and team instruction. This group is comprised of campers of the same skill level and relatively same age.

As the camp week progresses, every camper has an opportunity to move up to a more advanced group if the camper demonstrates a higher level of play. Our coaches are consistently trying to challenge our campers in order to improve their play as well as make sure that any transition is a smooth one.

Your skill level and overall team play will dramatically improve over the course of the camp week. Remember…EVERY FIELD POSITION is covered in our camp: Attack, Midfield, Face-Off, Defense, and Goalie.

Hired in October of 2013 as the Hawks’ defensive coordinator, Rife brings an abundance of experience that features more than 15 years of coaching at the collegiate level.

Arriving by way of Whittier College, also where he began his coaching career in 1998, Rife has spent the last two seasons in California as an assistant coach for the Poets. During his first stint at Whittier, he worked alongside Lawrence for two seasons, both serving as assistants.

Before making his return to Whittier and the west coast, Rife spent four seasons as the head coach at Wagner College in Staten Island. Before earning that position, he was a member of the coaching staff at Bryant from 2003-07, helping the then-Division II power to the program's first-ever Northeast 10 Conference regular season championship. Also highlighting Rife's campaign at Bryant was a combined 45-20 record and the development of five Division II All-Americans.

Rife first broke into the Division I coaching scene in 2002 when he was tabbed an assistant coach at UMass, his alma mater. In two seasons with the Minutemen, he helped the team to an appearance in the NCAA Division I quarterfinals in 2003. He is no stranger to the NCAA Tournament as in 2002 he assisted in piloting Washington & Lee to the Division III Final Four, a run that also featured the capturing of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference crown.

Rife graduated from UMass in 1996, earning his undergraduate degree in sports management.

Great camp!

Just a quick note to let you know our team really
enjoyed the camp. What a great camp, and what a great group of coaches you put together. Not only will the boys be better lax players as a result of their experiences, but will no doubt be better young men as well. Great job!

My son had a GREAT experience at your camp. He wants to go back again next year. He was very impressed (as we were too) with the level of expertise. Look forward to next summer.

Awesome Camp!

Alex thought the camp was "awesome". He clearly enjoyed himself and learned many new things. He was very impressed! Alex has gone from an unsure beginner to accomplished enthusiast and is already recruiting friends to play and, no doubt, attend next year's camp.
