Brent Fahsholz - Lead Coach

Brent Fahsholz is the head cross country coach at Arizona Christian University and serves as a lead coach for Next Athletes’ Nike Cross Country Camps.

Brent Fahsholz enters his eighth season as the head cross country coach at ACU in 2025-2026. In his first seven seasons, Fahsholz has coached athletes to school records in the 8K, 5K, 3K, 3K Steeplechase, 1500, 800, and 600. Additionally, he has produced 15 All-GSAC athletes (M&W Cross Country, Steeplechase, and 4x800 Relays), Numerous Honorable Mention All-GSAC athletes, and 12 National Qualifiers (M&W Cross Country, Men’s 5K, Half Marathon, and Marathon). Previously, Fahsholz worked as the assistant cross country and distance coach at Corban University. During his time, Fahsholz coached 3 All-Americans (800, steeplechase, and marathon), 20 national qualifiers, 14 All-Cascade athletes, and 20 All-Cascade Honorable Mention athletes in his six years at Corban. In 2017, Fahsholz coached the women’s cross country team to a 16th place finish at the NAIA Cross Country Championships.

As an athlete himself, Fahsholz was a four-year captain of the Corban men’s teams, helping to establish Corban’s record books, and earned All-Cascade Honorable Mention honors as a track and field athlete. Before college, he ran for legendary coach Tom Millbrooke at Canby High School where he was an all-conference and state qualifier. Coach Fahsholz enjoys reading, writing, and plucking the acoustic guitar. Credits the works of G.K. Chesterton and C.S. Lewis for his philosophical views, and Tom Millbrooke, Jonathan Zimmerman, and Rob Connor for his coaching views.

Coach Fahsholz is married to his wife Courtney, and they have newborn baby named Logan, and a five-year-old Australian Shepherd named Murphy.
