Coach Andre Hockaday Jr.
Baseball Coach & Instructor
Andre Hockaday Jr. is a former collegiate baseball player and passionate
youth baseball instructor who brings firsthand playing experience, enthusiasm,
and a strong understanding of the game to Nike Baseball Camp.
A graduate of Riverdale Baptist School, where he played high school baseball, Andre continued his athletic career at Lincoln University, competing at the collegiate level. Throughout his baseball journey, he developed a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game, teamwork, discipline, and competitive play. His coaching experience also includes serving as Assistant Baseball Coach at DCI Middle School.
Growing up around baseball and training under the guidance of his father, Coach Andre Hockaday Sr., Andre Jr. developed a passion for the sport that he now shares with the next generation of athletes. Through his involvement with On Deck Batting Cages, he brings his playing experience and knowledge of the game to help young athletes develop their hitting, fielding, and overall baseball skills.
Coach Andre Jr. is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where campers can improve their fundamentals, build confidence, and develop a strong work ethic. His goal is to inspire young players to reach their full potential both on and off the field while fostering a lifelong love for baseball.
