Born and raised in Saint Louis, MO, Coach Darrell Green has established a distinguished career in sports. After graduating from Jennings HS, having played both baseball and football, he began his collegiate athletic journey playing baseball at Greenville University. He then transferred walked on and played football as a wide receiver and participated in indoor track at Lindenwood University. Coach Green completed his education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Psychology and Applied Communications.
Coach Green is a dedicated Middle P.E. Teacher at Lift for Life Academy, where he strives to inspire and nurture young athletes.
With over seven years of experience in top programs in the State of Missouri, Coach Green has served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for several prestigious schools, including:
- Cardinal Ritter College Prep Football & Basketball
- Vashon High School Basketball
- De Smet Jesuit High School Football
- Lift for Life Academy
During his tenure, Coach Green has achieved remarkable success:
- 7 State Titles
- 15 District Titles
- 11 Final Four appearances
- Training numerous D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO athletes
Coach Green's passion for his community drives him to invest in various programs, athletes, and community organizations. His ultimate goal is to develop the skills of athletes at every level, positioning them for success both on and off the field. Coach Green believes in the power of sports to transform lives. He is committed to fostering the growth and development of his athletes, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to excel in their sports and their personal lives. It’s all about believing your process, stacking good days and grinding hard.
