Camp Director
J.R. Ross is a PGA Teaching Professional with over 25 years of experience helping juniors improve their game and develop a lifelong passion for golf. He leads Team Ross Golf’s instruction programs, coaching individual lessons, group clinics, and junior camps designed to build strong fundamentals while keeping the game fun and engaging.
A PGA member since 1989, J.R. has taught thousands of juniors and adults, served as Director of Junior Golf Camps for Nike Learning Centers, and is a certified instructor for The First Tee of Atlanta. He has coached girls’ golf at Whitefield High School and coordinates more than 250 hours of junior golf camps annually. His experience also includes serving as Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at Chateau Elan.
J.R.’s teaching philosophy is student-centered, emphasizing fundamentals and tailoring instruction to each player’s abilities and goals, he helps juniors improve their skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the game at every level.
