While living in his native England and working as the Head Soccer Coach and a Soccer Coaching Tutor at The Manchester College, Illinois Skill Schools Director Kyle Jones focused his studies on soccer skill development and on the various skill development methods used across the globe in countries such as Brazil, Spain, Holland and England.
While living in his native England and working as the Head Soccer Coach and a Soccer Coaching Tutor at The Manchester College, Illinois Skill Schools Director Kyle Jones focused his studies on soccer skill development and on the various skill development methods used across the globe in countries such as Brazil, Spain, Holland and England. With over twenty years of skill-specific coaching experience, Jones’ experience enabled him to collaborate with some of the finest English Premier League Academy Coaches. After two years of intense collaboration on curriculum and program development, Illinois Skill Schools began. Soccer Skill Schools is widely regarded as the "Most effective soccer skills training" in the midwest and beyond. Kyle has coached youth, high school, and college level. He won the Illinois State title and was State Coach of the Year in 2023. In his first season as a coach at Lake Forest College in 2024, he helped the Foresters win the Midwest Conference (MWC), MWC Tournament, and was part of the Coaching Staff of the Year in the MWC. In his second season, his team lead the nation in win percentage and broke the college record for wins in a season (19). Kyle also played Division 1 soccer at Cornell University. |
