Sofie Aagaard

Coach Sofie Aagaard serves as Head Women's Golf Coach for the Cal women's team and coach for Cal Junior Golf Camp.

• Became the 2nd head coach in Cal women's golf history in June of 2024
• Prior to that, became a volunteer assistant coach for Cal Poly women's golf in the fall of 2012
• Returned to her Cal, her alma mater, for a two-year stint as an assistant coach in February of 2013
• Served as the head coach at Cal Poly for seven seasons from 2015-22
• 4x Big West Coach of the Year ('16, '17, '21, '22)
• 2x LPGA Western Section Coach of the Year ('19, '21)
• Produced 13 All-Big West selections, 12 WGCA All-American Scholars and one conference player of the year at Cal Poly
• Served as both an assistant and head coach for the Arnold Palmer Cup International Team ('20-'21)
• Co-Chair of the Arnold Palmer Cup International Team selection committee ('21-present)
• Named Washington State's head coach in May of 2022
• Guided WSU to back-to-back NCAA Regionals ('23-'24)
