Most importantly, Casey enjoyed it and the positive experience only helped to solidify her wanting to continue playing in college. The head coach and staff were perfect, knowledgeable, skilled, effective, and kind to boot, not to mention how affordable the camp was. It was a winner all the way around.

Great first camp
My daughter, age 11, participated in the Nike Field Hockey Sports Camp at Gwynedd-Mercy University in June 2014. As a first time attendee to any sports camp, she was very apprehensive the first morning. The staff was extremely sensitive to her needs when she complained of a headache within the first half-hour of camp, the coach had her sit on the side and called me. I spoke to my daughter and the coach, mutually agreeing that she would stay until lunch and then see how she felt. When I picked her up at the end of the day, she was smiling, and the head coach gave me the "thumbs up" for a good day. By the end of the second day, my daughter said she had learned more in the two days of camp then she had playing all season at her school. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend the camp to others! She will be back next summer.
