Nike Junior Golf Camps
Nike Junior Golf Camps is excited to announce its newest camp in Colorado at University of Denver in Summer 2025. Campers have the unique opportunity to live on campus at DU (in adjacent rooms to the camp staff) while receiving daily instruction from Division I coaches at Overland Golf Course and other nearby facilities. Open to players of all ability levels, ages 10-17, this camp provides junior golfers the chance to experience the life of a college golfer while making lifelong friends and memories.
The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change each year.
Please note: Camp is closed to spectators during daytime hours. Parents are highly encouraged to attend the orientation on the first day and closing ceremony on the final day!
Overnight Camp
The overnight program includes instruction, fun games and competitions for prizes, overnight accommodation, all meals, fun evening activities, and more. The camp staff resides in the dormitories in adjacent rooms to the campers and provides supervision throughout the camp. Campers will be transported off campus each day for athletic training. The camp utilizes Overland Golf Course as its training facility.
Day Camp (9:00am-5:00pm)
The Nike Golf Camp at the University of Denver also offers a day camp program for campers who do not wish to stay overnight. This option includes instruction and daytime activities only. The schedule is modified on the first and last days of camp.
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Sunday): 12:00-12:30pm at the Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium -see “Summer Camp Info” section for full details about Orientation
- Day Camper Drop-Off (Mon-Thurs): 8:45-9:00am at the Dimond Family Residential Village
- Day Camper Pick-Up (Sun-Wed): 5:00pm at the Dimond Family Residential Village
- Day Camper Pick-Up/Closing Ceremony Location (Thurs): 12:30pm at the Campus Green.
- Parking: Parents can use Parking lot L for all drop-offs and pick-ups. Pay to park, attendant will charge parents at the gate.
Parent/Camper Seminars
Both campers and parents are invited to join us from 7:30-8:30pm each night, the location is to be determined for evening seminars. Seminar topics will include college recruiting, expectations of a collegiate athlete, how to choose the right school, and important sports psychology topics. We also offer opportunities for Q&A with each panel of coaches.
This camp is not owned, co-owned, sponsored, or co-sponsored by the University of Denver. The camp is open to any and all entrants and is only limited by age, gender, and number. Campers will typically play nine holes each day to ensure plenty of time for instruction.

Camp Details
This program is designed for kids 10 through 17. The staff on hand will provide golfers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the new player just discovering the game or the intermediate/advanced golfer looking to improve his or her results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that all instructional needs can be addressed.

- Orientation (All Campers): 12:30-12:45pm
- Last Day Check-Out: Following the closing ceremony on Thursday at 12:30pm at the Campus Green.
- Meals: Meals are provided for overnight campers only. Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.
- Apparel: All campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Note: Following camp check-in, all overnight campers will have an opportunity to move into their room in the residence hall briefly but please come dressed in your athletic apparel for camp.
- Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Instruction and course play with focus on all aspects of the game including putting, chipping, sand play and full-swing.
- Camper Amenity Package: Golfers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat and SRIXON golf balls.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Junior Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. You can reach out to the Pro-Shop at the golf course to see if they have any rentals available for your session of camp.
- Facility: Overland Golf Course
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
- Housing: The information below is based on previous years and is subject to change.
- Dorm: Dimond Family Residential Village
- Campers Per Room: Campers will be housed in double rooms.
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared
- Linens: Included, although campers are permitted to bring their own if they wish. Linens include washcloth, towel, fitted sheet, top sheet, blanket, and pillow/case.
- Air Conditioning: Yes

- Spending Money: We recommend that each overnight camper bring $60-75 per week of spending money to cover incidentals like snacks, souvenirs and other activities. Please bring cash in a marked envelope for your child.
OVERNIGHT INFORMATION
- Check-in: On the first day of camp, check-in will be between 11:30am-12:00pm
- Check-in Location: The Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium
- After overnight campers check in, parents and campers will receive their room and access cards and store their luggage in their assigned room.
- Campers should arrive at check-in dressed in their athletic apparel and ready to train.
- Check out: Following the closing ceremony at 12:30pm at the Campus Green.
- Meals: Day 1: Dinner | Days 2-4: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Day 5: Breakfast
- Room Key Deposit: Please bring a $337.25 check made out to “Next Athletes, LLC"
- Closing Ceremony: The closing ceremony will take place at the Campus Green. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
SUMMER DAY CAMP HOURS & MEALS
- Sunday: 12:00-5:00pm. Meals are not provided.
- Monday-Wednesday: 9:00am-5:00pm. Meals are not provided. Day campers must pack a lunch.
- Thursday: 9:00am-12:30pm. Check-out is following the 12:30pm closing ceremony. Meals are not provided.
- The closing ceremony will take place at the Campus Green. Parents are invited to attend! Campers and parents will depart following the closing ceremony.
- Meals: Day campers are required to bring their own lunch daily.

Overland Park Golf Course
Overland Park Golf Course is steeped in Denver history. The original Denver Country Club, this is the oldest running course West of the Mississippi. Conveniently located minutes from downtown, you can enjoy views of both the city and the mountains. Narrow fairways and small greens that are well-bunkered offer a challenge to golfers of any skill level.
