Welcome to the Nike Junior Golf Camp in Aberdeen, North Carolina! Join Nike Camp Director Doug Wherry and incredible coaching staff at Legacy Golf Links. This camp provides top-notch instruction by our highly qualified staff of teaching professionals. Improve your game and have fun with our experienced teaching professionals this summer!
WINTER/SPRING WEEKEND CAMPS
Designed for intermediate and advanced players, this camp pushes juniors to elevate their game—welcoming anyone ready to learn and grow. Throughout the camp, players will gain a deeper understanding of the golf swing and learn to incorporate athletic principles into their movement. They will also participate in focused putting and short game masterclasses, where they’ll master effective practice techniques to refine their finesse game. Finally, and perhaps the most exciting part of camp, is the opportunity to be coached by former professional golfer Doug Wherry. Doug has competed worldwide, including in the U.S. Open, and has coached over 150 students to reach the collegiate level. His students have included AJGA champions, state, and regional champions, and many who have succeeded in USGA and professional events. Learn from one of the best in junior development!
These Spring/Winter Weekend Camps run Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am-2:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 10-18. Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for campers.

Camp Details
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 10-18. The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Instruction with focus on all aspects of the game including putting, chipping, sand play and full-swing.
- Lunch: Lunch is NOT provided.
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Camper Amenity Package: Campers will receive an amenity package including a Nike hat, drawstring bag, SRIXON golf balls, camp workbook, and graduation certificate.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:4 staff-to-camper ratio.
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Junior Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. You can reach out to the Pro-Shop at the golf course to see if they have any rentals available for your session of camp. - Facility: Legacy Golf Links
- Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Legacy Golf Links
Located in the heart of the Sandhills of North Carolina! Just minutes from the famous Village of Pinehurst. Legacy is a Nicklaus Design golf course that is a must play when visiting the Pinehurst, Southern Pines and Aberdeen area of North Carolina. Although Legacy is just one of the few courses in the Sandhills area to play host to a USGA National Championship, the course remains playable for golfers of all skill levels. The course was renovated in 2012 and features Mini Verde greens and is beautifully routed around five lakes. The collection of par 3s maybe the best in the area while the 18th hole nicknamed “The Bear” was rated as the best finishing hole in the Pinehurst, Southern Pines and Aberdeen area.
