Nike Golf Camps

Welcome to the Nike Golf Camp in Linfield, Pennsylvania! Join Nike Camp Director and PGA Professional, Robert Kleckner, this summer at Linfield National Golf Club. This camp provides top-notch instruction, so come and see why hundreds of campers have attended this junior golf program. Improve your game and have fun with our experienced teaching professionals this summer!

FULL DAY CAMPS

This program is a wonderful way for our campers to enjoy a full day of golf. Full day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. After morning instruction and a break for lunch, campers will get to apply what they have learned out on the course (course play when available). Under the supervision of the camp staff, students will work on course management and the shots they learned earlier in the day. Full Day Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 9-16. Please note: Lunch is provided for full day campers each day.

HALF DAY CAMPS

This program is designed to pique the interest of new golfers while also offering intermediate golfers the instruction needed to improve. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. Half Day Camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 7-13. Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for half day campers each day.

    Robert Kleckner is a PGA member and owner of Linfield National Golf Club, and is excited to serve as camp director for Nike Junior Golf Camps.

    The Philadelphia PGA’s top honor, Golf Professional of the Year, was awarded to Robert Kleckner of Linfield National Golf Club in 2017. Kleckner was elected to PGA membership in 1995 and since that time has spent countless hours serving the game of golf. After serving as both an Assistant PGA Professional and Head Professional Kleckner also added golf course owner to his resume when he purchased Linfield National Golf Club in Linfield, Pa.

    In addition to fulfilling all of the traditional duties of a PGA Professional, Kleckner has also gone above and beyond to further the game of golf as well as his community at large. Kleckner has made Linfield National available to both high school and collegiate golf teams in addition to hosting an annual Philadelphia Junior Tour event helping to foster the game at the youth level. Kleckner has also facilitated multiple Patriot Golf Days in addition to several local charity events which shows his commitment to service. Kleckner has also mentored many Assistant PGA Professionals showing his dedication to the profession.

    Mike Sulpizio is a PGA Professional and is excited to serve as an instructor for Nike Junior Golf Camps.

    Sulpizio started his professional career at the Radnor Valley Country Club from1977-1979 as an Assistant Golf Pro, Teaching. Following that, he was the 1979 President at the Philadelphia Assistants Organization. He then went to Torresdale – Frankford Country Club in 1979 – 2014 as an Assistant Golf Professional and moved up as the Head Golf Professional in 1981 – 2014. Sulpizio then became the Head Golf Coach at Holy Family University Division II throughout 1989 – 2009.

    He is now the Director of Golf PGA Teaching Professional at Emeritus.

Camp Details

This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7-16 (ages vary by program). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

  • Program: The All Abilities program is designed to improve the fundamental skills needed for golf including putting, chipping, bunker play, and full-swing. On the first day of camp, all participants will be evaluated by the instructors and placed into groups based on age and ability level in various individual, small group and full group settings.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Morning instruction and afternoon course play (for full day campers only)

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:8 staff-to-camper ratio.
  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
  • Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own golf clubs, glove, golf balls, and tees. Through Nike Golf Camps we do not provide club rentals at this camp. You can reach out to the Pro-Shop at the golf course to see if they have any rentals available for your session of camp.   • Facility: Linfield National Golf Club
  • Medical Protocol: Camp will have on-site staff to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
