US Sports Camps Adds Xcelerate Nike Field Hockey Camp in Missouri
US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, along with Xcelerate Field Hockey Camps, has announced that they are adding a summer field hockey camp in St. Louis. The Xcelerate Nike Field Hockey Camp will be hosted at St. Louis University and directed by SLU Head Field Hockey Coach Danielle Baumgardner.
Coach Baumgardner has an extensive history of coaching field hockey at an elite level. After playing Division 1 field hockey in college, she went on to coach U.S. Futures and several club teams before joining the St. Louis University Coaching Staff. Coach Baumgardner will be bringing along her skilled staff to bring field hockey players a high-performance field hockey camp set to help strength their mechanics and learn new approaches to the game.
“We are very excited to bring a field hockey camp to Missouri” says Siera Love, VP of Nike Field Hockey Camps. “There are very few field hockey camp in the Midwest. So, by offering this overnight camp in St. Louis, kids from around the surrounding cities and states will have the opportunity to improve their skills during summer.”
Camp is set to run July 12-14. Players can choose between an overnight and commuter option. Campers will participate in focused drills, position training, and team driven competition, helping them develop their skills, improve their field hockey IQ, and learn techniques used by collegiate athletes.
