Nike Junior Golf Camps Hosts New Summer Programs in Bellevue, WA
Bellevue Golf Course opens three weeks of summer golf camps in late July and August
August 6, 2019 – US Sports Camps has announced the addition of full day junior golf camps at Bellevue Golf Course in late summer 2019. Nike Junior Golf Camps at Bellevue Golf Course offer a curriculum covering all aspects of the game with daily instruction at the practice facility, fun games and competitions, and on-course coaching in the afternoon. Directing the camps is experienced junior instructor, Joakim Westman, who also runs Nike Camps at The Golf Club at Echo Falls.
“I am very excited to bring the Nike Junior Golf Camps to Bellevue Golf Course,” says Coach Joakim. “Solid fundamentals and emotional control are the most important points of focus with our juniors and we’re thrilled to deliver these messages to our campers in a fun, structured environment.”
Coach Joakim has been running Nike Junior Golf Camps at The Golf Club at Echo Falls for several years and recently opened the second location at Bellevue Golf Course. Joakim has a master’s degree in Sports Psychology and has worked with amateur and professional golfers to improve their performance through utilizing mental techniques.
“These new camps in Bellevue are a phenomenal opportunity for us to grow junior golf participation in the area,” explains Westy McQueen of Nike Junior Golf Camps. “Bellevue Golf Course is a beautiful facility with an amazing staff who truly care about the improvement of each young player and we are thrilled to be in business here.”
Nike Junior Golf Camps at Bellevue Golf Course host three camp sessions in July and August of 2019. There is one remaining session from August 19 – 22. These camps run 9:00am – 3:00pm each day and include morning instruction on all facets of the game and competitions for prizes (when available), followed by lunch and supervised afternoon course play. This camp is structured for players of all ability levels - players are grouped by skill level and age on the first day of camp. The programs are coed and open to young players, ages 9-16.
