US Sports Camps Introduces Nike Pickleball Camps
SAN RAFAEL, California (January 13, 2021): US Sports Camps, the official provider of Nike Sports Camps, today announces the launch of Nike Pickleball Camps. Joining a line-up of 21 other sports camp disciplines, the pickleball offering will be introduced beginning in the 2021 season. Nike Pickleball Camps will provide amateur players across the United States with valuable opportunities to develop their skills in the sport.
Pickleball was invented in 1965 by the Pritchard family—and since then, the popularity of the sport has skyrocketed. Thanks in part to amateur and professional organizations like USA Pickleball and the Pro Pickleball Association, there are now over 3 million pickleball players across the country. Combining elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, and requiring minimal equipment, pickleball is equal parts fun and competition.
