Nike Tennis Camps Announces Summer Lineup at the University of Oklahoma
The Nike Tennis Camp at University of Oklahoma returns for its 12th year. This summer tennis camp in Norman, OK, will offer 2 sessions from May 31-June 4 and June 7-11. Campers ages 8-18 of all ability levels get the chance to learn from Division I college coaches and their expert staff.
Camp is directed by Nick Crowell and Audra Cohen, the Men’s and Women’s Head Tennis Coaches at University of Oklahoma. Both Crowell and Cohen have lifted the Sooners’ Tennis programs to new heights while at the helm over the past few years. Each carry their positive energy on and off the court to provide an unforgettable summer camp experience.
“Both Nick and Audra have proven how great of coaches they are for their collegiate programs and how much they care about helping junior tennis players improve their game” says Wendy Shpiz, VP of Nike Tennis Camps. “They provide a great environment for tennis players of all levels to gain confidence on the court and spark the desire for campers to improve even after camp.”
Campers are provided tools to train at their highest potential and have serious fun while doing so, “My daughter had a great time and learned a tremendous amount at this tennis camp. I was impressed with the encouragement and hands on training that was given to the campers by Nick, Audra, and the rest of their staff. The camp was very organized and all the staff ensured that it was a positive environment. As an Alumni of OU, I plan to send my daughter back to this camp” says Lee E., a parent of a camper from summer 2019.
A typical day at Nike Tennis Camps will offer drill and station work in the mornings and competitive match play in the afternoons. Camp at OU offers 10&Under Tennis, All Skills, Tournament Training and High School programs so that a player of any ability level can excel at camp. Both sessions will offer overnight and day camp options.
