Chaminade University Head Coach Kahala Kabalis Hoke named Coach of the Year

Nike Camp Director and Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Chaminade University was named West Region Coach of the Year for the 2021 season.

Kahala Kabalis Hoke, Chaminade University’s Head Women’s Volleyball Coach and Nike Camp Director was named West Region Coach of the year for the 2021 season. This honor comes as no surprise as she led the Silverswords to a historic season. In addition to Coach Kabalis Hoke’s personal accolades, the program earned the Pacific West Conference title for the first time in 25 years.

Coach Kabalis Hoke had a record setting year with her team. The Silverswords entered the NCAA Tournament with 27 overall wins and a 17-3 conference record. Chaminade University also finished in AVCA Top 25 Poll for eight weeks, setting yet another program record.

This summer, Coach Kahala Kabalis Hoke will host a Nike Volleyball Camp in Honolulu, where young athletes will get the opportunity to train under her elite coaching. This summer camp will focus on fundamentals and techniques through skill-building drills. This all skills program is open to Oahu locals as well as vacationing visitors.
